My husband and I recently stayed here during our visit to the Joshua Tree National Park, this was one of the best stays we had. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Amber made our check-in process quick and easy. Sasha was very kind to inform us of the meteor shower happening during our stay. While these seem like simple things. It's the small gestures and thoughtfulness. Being it my birthday I especially appreciated the kind note and souvenirs to make it more special. The rooms were very spacious and clean. My husband and especially enjoyed sitting by the firepit and just unwinding. We will definitely be coming back.

What a unique hotel experience! While catering to hikers, bikers, climbers and adventurers, we spent our 25th wedding anniversary here. Neat, clean spotless rooms, with fresh wood smell from an obvious rebuild, great bedding sheets, towels, amenities like hot tub, pool, fire pits, lobby lounge. Jesse, the AGM, great guy as we’re all the staff. We stay at some of the best hotels in the world, this will always be one of our most memorable escapes. Easy access to Joshua Tree NP and Palm Springs.

Superschöne, neue und saubere Anlage und Zimmer, sehr geschmackvoll! Komme gerne wieder.

Overall, the stay was very good. The room had a great decor, it was spacious and comfortable. The property had a swimming pool, hot tub, and many outdoor sitting areas with games. For those of us traveling with pets, there was a designated doggie area. The only complaint was the lack of a coffee maker in the room. That was a bit surprising because every hotel has them these days. It seems very inconvenient that every time you want a cup of coffee or tea, you have to go to the lobby and pay for it.

Unless you're cool dropping some coin on an Airbnb, there really haven't been any decent hotel options in Joshua Tree....until now. Field Station is unassuming on the outside, but the vibe is modern, functional, and comfortable. Staff is super friendly. Gift shop/cafe area is cute. The rooms are spacious and minimal and have everything you need to chill: Lots of charging outlets, strong AC, cool wall for hanging stuff, super comfy beds, good toiletries. We didn't get a chance to check out the pool or hot tub but it looked nice. The rooms felt a little pricey (just a little), but still more affordable than renting a house around there. It's an excellent jumping off point for exploring the surrounding area, and I would definitely consider coming back.

Highly recommend staying here! Room was clean and well decorated. So many fun activities provided throughout such as a fire pit and corn hole. The customer service at the front desk was amazing both checking-in and out. They also have a great cafe with food, drinks, plus a gift shop. Centrally located to everything in the area. Very excited to come here again in the future.

Really smart remodel of a conveniently located old hotel off the highway, with spacious rooms, a large pool and nice common areas. Staff was wonderful and worth five stars for their attitude and service. I've only given four stars because some of the design features in the room were tricky, in particular the bedside lamps (hard to figure out how to turn on) and the two overhead lights (which shut off via motion sensor if you were, say, sitting still reading). More lighting overall would have been great. And perhaps free morning coffee would be good too, like so many hotels and motels do these days. Otherwise: very comfy beds, cleverly designed rooms (even without closets) and a decent bathroom. I'd return, now that I know how to operate everything in the room. The park is about 20 minutes away, but it's an easy ride and there are lot of intriguing places to stop along the way, including some good restaurants.
