I share in another's post that this property is very nice, but those in the leasing office are deceitful and dishonest, namely Nancy and Monica. What they do is inform you that you have an apartment because you forwarded a deposit, and that you should begin the process of obtaining renter's insurance and to set up your utilities and internet...prior to your application being processed. This gives you the false sense of believing you have passed the application process. Well, even though I surpassed the minimum credit rating on all three credit reports, had always paid rent on time, and my monthly income 3X the minimum, they denied me. I have worked in the hotel/apartment business for 20+ years and know that this is a subjective decision, which is not lawful. After dozens of attempts, I spoke with Nancy who was rude and overbearing and she just gave me the same old spiel over and over. Definitely not a good representative of this business. I will be taking this to higher levels, so beware of their business practices.

I have lived at Avenida for nearly two years and have been very happy with the choice for so many reasons! I originally looked at Avenida because it fit my criteria for location and price. Once I took a tour however, the scale was tipped toward Avenida right away as it truly is a lovely building. To my surprise and delight however, the very best feature is quite hidden to the outsider and I only began to appreciate it after living here for a while. It turns out that what Avenida succeeds at above all is in creating a wonderful sense of community. They accomplish this in part by offering a large selection of many diverse activities which are ongoing throughout the day. (My personal favorites are line dance, trivia and any activity that includes live music - or a DJ - and dancing). This sense of community is also due to the fact that when you live here, you are always surrounded by people - simply meeting one another in the hallway, in the mail room or at the elevator and exchanging greetings is very heartwarming. Also, the staff members here contribute to the quality of life here, and I count them as my friends. I'm so glad I made the choice to come to Avenida; living here and being a part of this warm community has been very life enhancing for me.

My father was denied residence here and his $500 application fee has not yet been refunded as promised. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone on the phone with this company unless you are trying to buy or rent a unit. My dad is a stroke patient on a fixed income and I understand if they denied his application, but don't take an incredibly expensive $500 application fee and not refund him as promised. I am encouraging Avenida to do the right thing and contact me or my dad and give him back his money. And I am willing to speak to anyone about my experience with this company.

I have been living at Avenida for 7 months and love it here. It is a boutique style residence, tastefully decorated, modern, well kept with beautiful outside areas including a lovely pool and jacuzzi. The great room, where most of the functions are held, is gorgeous, very classy! There is a huge well equipped gym, a large exercise room for assorted exercises including yoga, stretch and balance classes and line dancing. It’s like living on a cruise ship - minus the water! There are so many daily activities, I find it hard to find the time to run errands!! The residents are friendly and outgoing and the apartments are ample size and very well equipped. The location is perfect. Just a few minutes away from El Paseo and grocery and drug stores and just a short drive from Eisenhower hospital. Now, let’s talk about the staff. You won’t find a better, more dedicated team that the Avenida Team! They all go over and above to make sure the residents are happy and their needs are taken care of, the office staff Lisa, Nancy, Monica and Raul really listen and care and are very friendly and professional. Nicole and Monica are in charge of all the fun activities - which are endless. They work so well together - always upbeat, lots of energy and enthusiasm and are always thinking of new ways to entertain the residents. Jose is in charge of maintenance and Jhonathan is his assistant. They both are extremely helpful and are there for us when needed. Carlos and Ismarie are our porters. They work tirelessly to keep the property, inside and out, clean and tidy and always wear smiles on their faces, we are so very lucky to have such a wonderful team. Best team in the entire Coachella Valley!! I can’t say enough good things about Avenida! The best move I ever made!!

I've lived here a little over a year and find it absolutely fantastic! They promote the 5 to Thrive concept - Live Life, Live Confidently, Live in Motion, Live & Learn, and Live Connected. Therefore, they offer a plethora activities to choose from in support of this concept from social activities, learning experiences, several exercise classes to choose from including yoga, circuit training, line dancing, strength and balance conditioning, etc., as well as, card, game and puzzle clubs, crafting and art projects, and, the list goes on. All the staff members are kind, generous, and helpful persons - a joy to interact with. I have met so many lovely people since moving here and made many new friends. I look forward to living here for as long as possible because Avenida has truly been life changing for me!

Avenida physically is a great place and well maintained. The staff are very friendly Yet it is overpriced in that if you have a second person in your apartment there is an additional $200 a month charge. There is also a monthly charge for parking and for each pet.
The atmosphere is very much like the "old folks home" of the past. Avenida sit right next to the Fire/Ambulance station and all day an night the sirens are blaring an it also sit on a busy street close to Eisenhower Hospital so additional sirens continually.
Avenida is a place you should consider staying as a place holder while you look for a real home.

I was disappointed that I didn't find Avenida sooner! The Fitness Studio equipment fits my needs. The staff has been very responsive and very knowledgeable of the community. My wife and I really enjoy all of the social events. My wife Julie has enjoyed many exercise classes like Strength & Balancing. We both appreciate the design of the community with wide hallways and like that all the amenity rooms are in one corridor. We both really like the large two bedroom floorplan design especially the kitchen space. Lisa the manager helped Julie with a cut she had and was very responsive. Raul has been very responsive and helpful with our tour and move in process. Lisa has always been there for us with all of our unit needs. Jose the maintenance manager has been amazing with our service requests. We enjoy the onsite package delivery lockers as well.

Avenida is a beautiful and vibrant community. The thing we like best about living at Avenida is the friends we have made. The staff at Avenida make it easy to meet people and develop friendships. They sponsor social events once a week and sometimes more often. We get to know the residents, their diverse backgrounds, likes and dislikes and their problems. We care about them and they care about us. Avenida is like living with a big family.
