We stayed at the Shangri-la house and loved every minute of it. The host were so easy to work with and the location is perfect. It was an easy walk to downtown area. The aromatherapy scent was the best part. We are already planning our next stay.

We stayed in the Lotus House, a converted house built in what I would guess is the late 1800s. They have done a great job keeping it rustic but also very comfortable. The bed was great, and it was tranquil.
The location was close to everything, and the main downtown area was a short half-mile walk, or you could take the trolley that stops just down the street from the house.
We loved the town and the staff was very helpful with all of our needs.
We will stay here again when we get the opportunity to visit Eureka Springs again.
The only criticism I would have is since our suite was on the top floor, they have installed three window air conditioners to keep it cool. I would highly suggest they invest in a multi-room split air system for the upstairs suites to keep the cooling noise to a minimum. Having the Window AC units blasting all the time did get a little annoying but not enough to diminish our stay.

Absolutely perfect. I was offered a room upgrade almost immediately by the owner up on reserving, and my room had a wrap around balcony on the 2nd floor. That might I saw 3 deer eat out of the front yard for 15 minutes before a car scared them. I was less than 5 minutes from downtown and had parking spaces available at their other location.
I'm planning my next vacation immediately.
You won't find a better place and the personal touch is what makes this place so worth it.

This is mine and my husbands 5th-6th time staying at one of Eureka Zen's places. This particular stay was the Lotus Suite located in the lotus house. The amount of space in this first floor Lotus Suite was amazing. As with all of their suites/cottages, the decorating is always on point and the smell when you first arrive is very "zen"! You can not go wrong with a Eureka Zen cottage!!

We love the location of Wishing Star cottage. One of the bedrooms is really small but that didn't bother us. We have been back multiple times now and can't wait to go again. The location is awesome and the view of Christ of the Ozarks is the icing on the cake.

The reasons I rated this suite the way I did is for a few different reasons. First, it was the first time in a long time that my wife was able to enjoy an actual bath (not for cleaning, but for relaxing). Next is how private the suite was. We had our own balcony area that we were able to sit on and listen to the music being played a local bar. Don't worry, they didn't play past 10:00. There is a separate kitchen that you can have a relaxing cup of coffee, before heading out to enjoy your day. The one thing that really set this place aside is the service. They make themselves available when you need them, even after your stay. I say this, because I left a couple of shirts in the closet. I realized I left them, after returning home. Messaged them to see if they found them. They contacted me the next day and said they will package up the close and send them back to me. I highly recommend you stay here when visiting Eureka Springs.

My family and I stayed at Eureka Zen for one night. Initially, it appeared to be a nice apartment but after closer inspection, there were many areas that fell short. First off, since it was kind of a "girls trip", it did not feel very secure having exposed windows all night long without any covering (including right outside the bathroom!). I understand, this may not be a deal breaker for those that like to look outside. The doors did not have reinforced locks as I had a heck of a time ensuring that the front door closed and locked properly. There were also dark spots on the sheets in both bedrooms and questionable white spots on the comforter in the king bedroom. Also, when I pulled back the sheets in the queen bed to slide in for the night, I was greeted with a hair. The floor boards squeaked terribly, particularly right outside the bathroom and in the queen bedroom. I know it's an old house, but...you couldn't sneeze without squeaking around there so it was just super annoying. In all, I just noticed a lot of areas that just needed a good ole fashioned wipe down. I will say that the cottage is cute at first glance, the fixtures and ambiance are all nice but if you're a stickler for cleanliness, it will not be your first choice. I would not stay here again, especially not for $347.

I am not a review writer, but I was shocked at the way these owners treated us when an issue arose. We stayed at the Shangrila and the photographer did their job in making it look better than it was. We also liked the option of the outdoor hot tub and the bath upstairs. Overall, the place felt fine. The fireplace was nice, but the remodel was not complete and average at best. The hot tub is an old unit, does not get warm enough and the jets provide limited pressure. Not enjoyable! The main issue we ran into was no hot water. While I assume this is a one off situation, we did not have hot water and were unable to use the bath or take showers. While I assume it is fixed now, the owners told me they sent the plumber out after our stay and said it was working fine. They offered us $75 on a $360 stay which I thought was completely unacceptable and basically made it our problem. Might be an ok place to stay, but if you’d have any issue don’t plan on the remedy being fair. They told me they have never given a refund before. Wow!!! Hospitality?!?!
