I cannot say enough about Chris and the staff at Matterhorn! I will say this though, “if you need a safe (FAMILY SAFE), quiet, well kept, and easy hotel, MATTERHORN is the place!” This place lacks nothing except for awards as being the best that we, as a town, have to offer! The true spirit of Eureka has a home here! The room was well cleaned, stocked, and easily accessible from different routes on the property and most importantly I felt SAFE!!!. The staff is truly a strong team and go out of their way to accommodate any needs that can arise.
All in all, I will leave my stay here armed knowing that I will always know where to stay for a safe, clean, well kept hotel room!

We absolutely love this place…. The love and care the owners put into it are so sweet! The plants, the unique building… it almost has a monastery feeling! The pool was open first of October and was so refreshing! They even brought us poolside towels. So thoughtful! This will be a spot we visit for years to come ❤️

I've stayed in several places in Eureka Springs and this hotel is hands down my favorite place. This is my 2nd stay here and I will continue to stay here when I visit. The rooms are comfortable, quiet area, shower has good pressure and plenty of hot water. Pet friendly and a good spot to walk the dogs. Owner is friendly and the check in has been smooth both times.

I can't say enough about my experience and welcoming when I stayed at the Matterhorn. The owner, Chris, is a free spirited gentalman and always up to share his knowledge of his favorite spots and entertainment in the area. My room was comfortable and quiet regardless of the business of the hotel. Loved exploring the grounds of the hotel and sitting in the rocking chairs for morning coffee. It's only a short walk from her to the downtown area, and the walk is well worth it to explore . I took this trip solo but will be returning with my family in the future, and we will most definitely be staying at the Matterhorn.

This place reflects the aesthetic and character of Eureka Springs. Does not try too hard to impress you. But, you will be happy that you are there and you will find something interesting in every corner once you start exploring. It is advertised as a 1 star hotel on google. So, tune your expectations to match that rating and you won't be disappointed.

The room we stayed in was super clean, beds were comfortable and the a/c worked great. The location is very convenient. You can walk to downtown if you want to. And the host, Chris, as mentioned in other reviews is so pleasant to interact with. He is genuinely a very nice guy. I highly recommend this place.

My Fiancé and I stayed here for a last minute weekend getaway. It was a perfect experience. Clean, comfortable and well maintained. Super convenient location. We were able to walk to the downtown district but still had a quiet and private atmosphere. Chris was amazing with his welcoming personality and service! He was very educated on daily activities and had the best recommendations. We will definitely stay here on our next trip out!

Great place. Went to visit Eureka Springs for a weekend getaway and the UFO convention. Somehow, we managed to get the penthouse apartment which was amazing! We were a party of four and two dogs, which was plenty of space and privacy with the family/community group feel. Very cozy and comfortable. Chris and Jackson were always kind and available every time we ran into them on the property.
