Originally I was building but with prices it was outrageous so I opted to keep the land for a more modest home and chose the Lulabelle. I was defeated and lost in the beginning process as everything seemed to go wrong and I was getting no communication from the mortgage company . Lauren with Emerald homes reached out and from there it was relief. She guided me through the process and kept me up to date on things I needed and the next steps which eased my stress level tremendously. We just moved into our home and while we are adjusting to everything the stress is slowly easing. We still have a few minor issues to fix but the home fits us perfectly and I am happy. Thank you Emerald Homes.

First off I would like to thank my saleswoman Crystal. She went above an beyond in helping me find my home. If I needed anything she was there didn’t matter the time of day. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else! But Crystal an her team! They had an outstanding lot to choose from as well! Couldn’t be any happier with my purchase!!

0/5 DO NOT BUY FROM EMERALD HOMES. They are shady. If I could give 0 stars I would. I've had nothing but issues the moment I bought the home. I feel like I got the trailer that they let the new people build in the factory. The finishes really arent there. There are so many flaws and the vinyl on the outside is even saggy like it is not secured. I'm worried my home won't even last through hurricane season!
I was told by Jason (salesman) that they could include my septic tank in the loan and after we signed paperwork, I asked when the septic would be installed & what I needed to do, Lauren informed me that septic wasn't apart of it and could only be included if I'd put my land up for collateral. So I was OVERCHARGED BY A WHOLE $5000 from what they originally quoted me under false pretense that I'd get a septic tank installed and had to come out of pocket.
The water to my dishwasher wasn't turned on. I had to call a dishwasher repair man and pay him $50 to pull the valve open because no one would help me and never even got offered to get reimbursed. My hot water heater pipe blew off and flooded my kitchen and laundry area and Kayla Berry told me to call a plumber because their's was busy. Basically telling me to figure it out myself, and she always told me to call the manufacturer. So I have been communicating with Ashley at Clayton and she has been helpful.
I have had this home for almost a year. My trailer started settling basically the moment they placed it. I can feel nail pops and some of the joists underneath the floor. My master bedroom window cracked. The electrical outlets come out of the wall easily. The closet rack isnt screwed in well and is partially falling out of the wall. My floorboard in the bathrm squeaks. My Ecobee thermostat constantly shuts itself off and wont turn back on unless i pull it off the wall and put it back on. My kitchen drawer came apart. The backdoor has never shut right even after they sent someone out to fix it, I have to slam it shut. My tub was weak in one spot and Clayton, who only sends contractors, sent a man who, instead of replacing the tub thats suppose to be under warranty, drilled holes in my tub and filled it with some kind of foam and then sealed it up and told me not to use it for 72 hrs. Which i did, but after like a month or so, it's getting weak again.
My ceiling was cracked in several places and Emerald's repair guys only filled them with caulk and never properly fixed them. They also mentioned a few of my panels had water damage and they replaced them. They claim that people leave the doors open after viewing the homes and they get rained in. Which tells me the employees of Emerald are completely careless and negligent and don't care if they sell ruined homes. Which is basically what I bought. The floor by the front door was weak from water damage. 2 different people came out to fix it, the 1st bandaided it and said that it just needed support and they dont worry about the floors unless they're super soft. So a few weeks ago I see my trim around my front door warping and the floor is soft. So I emailed Ashley and she sent person #2 out, and bless them they work hard, but now I have air bubbled linoleum and a huge vinyl prank glued down in the middle of my hallway to cover up where they had to cut the linoleum up. They kept asking my mom "are we sure it's new" because it looked like someone had done work on it before. Which is so unsettling when you're spending hundreds of thousands on something thats suppose to be new. If you've read this far, this whole deal has been a nightmare and I wish I didn't buy this mobile home. Do yourself a favor and buy from someone else.

Once you purchase your home, they will not return calls when you have paid for services, they WILL NOT FINISH THE JOB!!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE! I hope the owner is aware the people in his office is ruining his business and reputation in the ground!!!

My experience as someone that bought a home from here. There is basically no service dpt and the little help we got took months. They show up with basically a hammer and have no clue what’s going on. They refer most things damaged as “cosmetic” as a way not to fix it. Most major things they send you to the manufacturer. The manufacturer rarely answers and if for some miracle they do, they send you back to Emerald. Both point fingers at each other saying it’s not us, talk to them. They do not honor the warranty contract.
We got our home about a year ago, many issues since we moved in. They didn’t get the dirt pad in the right spot when we put steaks showing where to put it. They show up with the home, had no idea which way it was suppose to be facing on the lot while I’m at work in another state. They ran over our water meter, water shooting everywhere flooding for hours and their contractor never called the water co. to deal with the bill. It took us months just to get the power turned on. Water was cold, had the plumber on speed dial bc for whatever reason they have him doing basically everything so I call him and he’s trying to have me fix plumbing issues myself instead of coming out here. It took weeks just for them to find the water line.
They almost damaged our dishwasher water bc the water wasn't turned on even after the “inspection”. Yes they call you and say the home passed the “inspection” yet no one knows who did it. There is zero chance this home would’ve passed an inspection by licensed home inspectors, lesson learned. Make sure you go get your own - do not use theirs. There were so many things wrong, there are still things they haven’t fixed. If you’re set on getting a mobile home find a dealer with a decent service department so you won’t be the middle man when issues come up bc it will happen and you’ll wish you picked a good company

Bought a repo from them and they refuse to finish the trim Work on inside and outside of home. They took the trim down in one bathroom and cut it up. Now say they are done and won't fix they stuff. Would never recommend anyone buying from them. Edited... Yall told me it would be fixed . The only way it got fixed was by mr.King sending some people to fix it. Yall kept saying you found the trim then saying you couldn't find it. To stop answering my calls or returning my calls. Then telling me Yall was done with it. Great way to run a business. .. But I'm very thankful for Mr.King getting my home fixed.

So me and my husband Matthew have purchased a home through emerald homes and let me tell you they have went above and beyond for our family. To making sure everything was done in a timely manner and also to make sure everything in the home was 100 percent. They helped us through every step of the way any questions we had even if I thought they were dumb questions they had a answer for everything and explained everything in complete detail. I 100 percent recommend emerald homes for your home. They made mine and my husband's dreams come true. Brett was our salesman and I highly recommend him to talk to he was very professional and knew what he was talking about. Thank y'all emerald homes
