Apartamentos viejos.

We recently moved out, and I wanted to share a few concerns about the complex. First, parking is a major issue. The spaces are incredibly small, and despite the size of your unit, you’re only given one parking spot. If you have more than one car, finding nearby street parking is often a challenge.

If you happen to have a package stolen, don’t expect much assistance; the usual response is that the cameras are malfunctioning or need troubleshooting.

The laundry situation is also frustrating. The machines are constantly breaking down, and when I reported this, I was only advised to use a different laundry room. For such a large complex, there are only four laundry rooms, each with just two washers and four dryers—and something always seems to be out of order! These laundry rooms are also spread far apart, so you’re either taking a long walk, climbing steps, or even driving just to find a working machine. It’s a huge inconvenience.

Another issue is the Sky Deck, which includes the pool, gym, and barbecue area. It frequently closes earlier than the posted hours. We specifically chose this complex because they promised it would be open until 10 p.m., allowing us to work out in the evening. However, they started closing it early as a form of punishment because someone ate in the pool area. This “temporary” early closure has been going on for a while. Instead of focusing on useful improvements like this, management seems more concerned with cosmetic fixes, like painting the exterior walls.

On top of rent, there are extra fees for water, trash, valet trash services, admin fee, convince fee( just because we use a credit card to pay the rent; it was $90 for us), and you’re responsible for your gas, electricity, and internet bills. Keep in mind could add six or seven hundred on top of your rent. Honestly, considering everything, it’s not worth the cost.

On a positive note, Jean and the two maintenance guys were always very helpful and friendly. And the night view was great! I am just being very honest with what we have experienced here.

Went on a tour a couple months back and just realized I never got around to writing a review. Unfortunately I didn't end up renting an apartment here due to some family things that came up, but I would have definitely applied otherwise. The staff, Jessica I believe her name was, was very pleasant and thorough during my tour, answered any question I had and made me feel what a home should feel like. Id recommend anyone to have a tour if you're in the market for a new place and don't miss out on the opportunity to rent at a decent price with a manager who cares.

STAY AWAY THIS IS A SCAM

I had a tour at this apt and I liked it because it’s close to my job and the unit is very spacious.
The leasing agent informed me that the rent changes so I gotta keep an eye out on their website for the price and to send an application on their site as everything is done online.

March 21, 2024: I submitted my application for a unit that is “Available Today” and the rent was $1803. I signed the application and paid $418, which includes the $300 holding deposit and $118 application fee for 2 applicants. I also got an email that includes the quoted rent, $1803 and it said that the quote expires on March 23.
Which I thought was fine because I already submitted my application and paid the fees on March 21.

March 22: I called the leasing office since 9am to ask for an update and the next steps and nobody answered. I literally called all day. At this point, I’m already getting nervous that I was scammed.

March 23: The leasing agent left me a voicemail telling me that their system was down and I can only get an update on March 26 because she can’t see any status updates until then.

March 26: I called and the leasing agent told me that I was already approved for prescreening. When I checked their website for the status of my application, it shows that the rent was already $2058!!! I asked the agent why and she told me that my quote expired on March 23 so the system automatically changed the rent. I explained to her that I submitted my application on March 21 to secure the 1803 rent but she just told me that the rent was really going to change since their approval process takes 7 days or so and by that time, the rent is already higher than what I signed up for.

I told her that it’s crazy that I didn’t even get any text, or email notification that the rent is gonna change like that. And she told me, “any normal person would understand that if the quote expires on March 23, it will change after that”

I am in disbelief. If I knew that the system would change the rent after I submitted my application, I would have never paid the security deposit and application fee. This is ridiculous that this business practice is even legal.

How could they just change the rent after a potential tenant submits and application and pays the fees?!

Now, I’m still trying to reach them to give me my deposit back but nobody answers. I will report this to BBB as this should not be legal. They are just scamming people of their deposit and application fees.

To those thinking of applying here, BEWARE. Don’t end up like me!!!

Disclaimer: this review is based on my experiences 4 years ago, but my time here was so bad that I still think about it.

My wife and I lived here for a one year lease. During that time, we experienced:
- Non-responsive office/maintenance (I'll add that the office was frequently closed during "open" hours, so we would often be unable to speak to anyone for weeks)
- Missing packages
- Way too few laundry machines (2 washers and 4 dryers per 12-15 apartments)
- Numerous "inspections" that the office would conduct without giving proper notice
- Broken AC (Took 3 months to fix, after repeatedly calling, emailing, and visiting the office)
- Water leak in the bathroom ceiling (the one and only time we got a quick response)
- Formation of black mold after the above leak. My wife developed a respiratory infection that lasted 6 months after we moved out. We did our best to clear out the mold, but were confident that it had formed in the bathroom fan vents. Office was non-responsive for weeks until we threatened to hire someone and withhold the cost from our rent. Maintenance came out the next day and left me a voicemail that there was "no mold, it was only dust." We were young and dumb enough at the time not to push the issue further, but should've.

Additionally, while the below is not the fault of the apartment/management, it's worth noting from a standard of living perspective:
- Persistent issues with neighbors not respecting sensible limits on noise (partying to 3-4am on weeknights, hammering things on their patio at 5am on a weekday, etc)
- Miserable parking (no street space + awful street sweep schedule that results in tickets)
- Mosquitos. So many mosquitos (this may have been due to the complex being pressure washed every week but not having proper drainage, leading to a lot of standing water)
- Frequent close calls with cars as a pedestrian. Nearly got hit countless times just trying to get to/from my car while crossing the street

All and all, I lived in 6 different rentals before buying a house, and this was the single worst living experience I've had in every conceivable regard.

If you are reading this considering whether or not to live here or somewhere else, I urge you, take your other option.

Please do yourself a favor and don’t move in!
No matter the promises they make or fake story telling. I was promised a lot of things were to be fixed before my move in date and have yet to been fixed. There’s also alot of hidden fees on top of your rent that they don’t tell you about. There is constant dog poop all over the apartments and hardly ever cleaned. I wish someone would had warned me about it please find something else better not worth the headache

If I could write a zero star review I would. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BY ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LIVE HERE. I lived in this apartment complex for 8 months between 2020 and 2021 and broke the lease early because my wife and I couldn't stand to live there any longer. I had never done this before and haven't since. The complex overall was disgusting littered with trash water and animal waste, the office staff was difficult to reach and when you did reach them if you had already signed your lease they were not at all helpful. The Parking situation is horrible if you have more than one car. We had an expensive package stolen from right underneath the Video camera they had set up and not only would they only give the video to the police, forcing us to file a police report, the police proceeded to tell us this happens often in this complex and there's not much they can do even with the video. How is that possible in a locked gated complex Oh yeah that's probably because one of the two entrances had a broken lock for literally 90% of our time there.

Why am I writing a review 2 years later? Because at the time I had other things going on and wanted to be done with the place until I get a call from collections alleging that I had unpaid utilities and cleaning costs from this place.....I literally wrote them a check, for the exact amount they asked for, that they cashed and they still decided to send us to collections for some reason.... now im having to look back two years into my financial records to dispute this. Fortunately we have plenty of proof of payment so one positive is this place won't get another dime out of me.

Do yourself a favor and spend a couple extra hundred bucks a month if you can to avoid the inevitable headaches living here will provide you. Can not stress enough how bad of an experience we had.

I used to like living in this place, it was quiet and clean, I lived here since 2019, But 1 year ago I started to notice that everything went bad with these apartments, the building is old, the floors and walls look like they were going to fall down , and the plumbing is damaged, if you are bathing suddenly the water becomes super hot or super cold and that is dangerous. the managers no longer have filters with the people they allow to live here, they are people who don't take care of anything, many people who live here bring a lot of guests to the pool (knowing that they only allow 2 guests per apartment). and they make the pool dirty with food and alcohol leaving the pool out of service all the time and -nobody picks up their pets' poop in the pet park which is very disgusting. If you want to wash your clothes, it's impossible because people don't empty the washing machines, even though they've finished washing, they leave their clothes there for hours and hours. I'm leaving here after 4 years and I would have wanted to live here longer, but for hygiene reasons and peace of mind its not possible (not to mention that they never answer calls or emails to make a complaint or suggestion).
