After reading that Willows had such a high crime rate, we were a little concerned to find this motel was located in the downtown portion of the city as opposed to along the freeway. We were also concerned because we saw online that the motel was sold out and we were afraid there wouldn't be a place to park since we were towing a cargo trailer and would be arriving late. All of our fears were unfounded. The gentleman that checked us in was so nice. He came out to the parking lot and gave directions to my husband as to where he could park easily with the trailer and have an easy exit in the morning. It's definitely and older mom and pop type motel, but the room was clean, the shower was hot, and the AC worked great. There were only two pillows, so my husband asked if we could get two more. Again, the gentleman was so accommodating and brought them to our room with a smile. We had a very quiet night's sleep. Wish we hadn't eaten before arrival. There was a little bar/grill across the street and the motel host told us they had really good food. The number of cars there would indicate he was right. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Nice little town and friendly owner. That’s the only good I have to report.

Horrible smell when entering the room for the first time. Had to open the window and crank the AC on full blast to try to at least mask the smell. Probably doesn’t help the the room was 80-90 degrees when I entered.

Disgusting stain on the floor between the beds that looks like it’s still wet.

Chair in room also stained very badly. More disgusting than the stain on the floor.

The thing that drove me crazy the most was the flies in the room. I was awoken several times by flies landing on my forehead while I was asleep. I killed about 4 flies but there was always another.

Seemed like a peaceful little place until the Sheriff showed up at night for what appeared to be some kind of domestic situation.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Previous reviews were correct! Very affordable, clean comfortable rooms, very comfy bed, and surprisingly soft toilet paper! Also, had electrical outlets accessible, why can't the big hotel chains catch on to this idea? I was able to charge my phone & tablet without having to unplug their clock.
Quaint place, Worth staying here.

The owners are very nice people, we like to stay longer but the bed sheets stinks. After few days, I asked for clean covers and they stink worse than what we have. The carpet needs to replace. Its the cheapest in town but we only stayed for a week and switch motel.

Very clean, and more amenities than you get at Motel 6, which wanted $119 the same night I booked here. Extremely inexpensive, and the ac blew so cold I had to turn it off (that's a good thing, most hotels are too warm for me).

This place is tucked away from the main motel drag in Willows, right across the street from best burger 'n beer place around (The Last Stand). Yes it's old, yes it ain't so pretty, but it's clean, it's cheap, and the water is hot -- eventually! My only complaint is that the walls are thin... Sucks if your neighbor decides to yak until all hours.

The motel initially looks sketchy, especially at night. However, in regards to the actual inn it's the bare essentials.

Pros:
Service was nice and expeditious
Inexpensive
Free wifi
Liquor store and restaurant next door

Cons:
Residents can sometimes be sketchy
AC unit is very loud
Fridge is also loud

It's not a bad place, I'd stay there again if needed.
