I don't often leave reviews, but I was disappointed in this place. To start on a positive note, the clerk at the reception desk was very kind and friendly. There were, though, some issues with the room. The bathroom door wouldn't close. My husband said if you lift up on it hard enough it would close. I tried repeatedly, but wasn't able to make it happen. Not a biggie, though, since it was just my husband and me in the room. The other "not a deal breaker" issue, was the tv. There was a horizontal red line that ran the width of the screen and wouldn't disappear regardless of the channel we watched. We also learned that there was no breakfast included, when I had seen free breakfast listed before I booked the room. No biggie, there's a McDonald's, Waffle House and Burger King nearby. I can deal with those issues. The deal breaker though, was the bed. It was horrible. It felt like rather than sleeping on a box spring and mattress, we were sleeping on a box spring on top of a box spring, with just an inch or so of cushion. I would have moved to a chair to sleep, but the only chairs in the room were a couple of metal, straight back chairs, with a little cushion on the seats. I tried sitting on one of them, and laying my head on the table provided. That didn't last long either. It might have helped, if we had pillows to help make us comfortable, but there were only 2 flimsy pillows available. My husband and I were both awake most of the night and are still hurting this evening as a result of the bed. I've slept on camping cots that I would have gladly traded for that bed. We should have just gone out to our vehicle and slept. We thought that maybe we just got a bad room and that those issues weren't the norm, but we had friends that were also staying there, and they said they had issues with their tv, and that the bed was just like ours. On another positive note though, the room did appear to be fairly clean. All in all, it was not a good experience, and we won't be back. I know, "you get what you pay for". But, where lodging is concerned, I've paid less for more.

I don't know why there are so many negative comments. I'm very picky and was very surprised. First off I would like to thank the owner and the young man at the desk. You saved me from having to stay in ny hot car and for that I am grateful. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Yes the bathrooms are small but that's nothing to complain about. It's big enough to do what you need to do. Plenty of channels on the TV as well. No breakfast, which was unusual but I had a great night's sleep and felt extremely safe at this location. It was quiet and will return if I need to in the future. Thank you guys for everything.

My reserved room ended up being upstairs, asked to change to a downstairs room, they made it happen. Extra pillows brought on request. Very nice people

Great staff! The lady behind the desk had a great sense of humor! There was a little mix up with our room, but she cleared it up with no hassle. It was a pretty quiet hotel, not too much going on there.

The room was about average, not too flashy. The bed was comfortable and decent sized pillows. I think my only turnoff was the smell of cigarettes. I couldn’t tell if it was coming from the room or just outside the door. It wasn’t very strong, just enough to notice it around the entrance to the room. Aside from that minor inconvenience, it was a great experience.

If anything, we’d definitely be coming back just to see the spunky lady behind the desk. 😉

This should have been a $50 motel, not an $88 motel. The bathtub was not clean, several outlets didn’t work, all the lighting was harsh, the beds and pillows were not comfortable, the bathroom door almost hits the toilet when opened and the light/fan in the bathroom buzzes loudly.
The worst part is that they allow reservations through a third party (like a credit card company with travel perks) but have no reliable system to deal with those reservations… only telling you to call a customer service number, a number that will tell you to call another number (after being put on hold) and onward. They did not honor my reservation even though I prepaid so I had to pay again for a different room. If this motel company is going to allow third party reservations, it needs to handle them properly.

Definitely not coming back, and very confused about how many good reviews there are.

Ice machine broken at motel (and had been for some time), and because the room fridge had no freezer section, was impossible to work around the lack of ice. .... There is no excuse for the lack of provision of ice. When I have stayed at a motel in the past with a broken ice machine, the front desk simply bought bag ice from a store, kept it in a cooler in their area, and customers could bring the in-room ice bucket to the front desk to be filled by the desk clerk. This remedy costs very little money. The evening clerk told me he had no authorization to get ice or to pay for it, and the manager was unavailable or out of town (apparently unreachable by phone?). The day clerk (my check-out day) told me she had the authorization to decide to get ice, but had no access/authorization to spend any money for ice. This is absurd. An effective manager provides access to petty cash to on-site staff to deal with problems like this, which have such easy solutions.
