Our family had an amazing time at Eagles Wings! It felt magical to be surrounded by such beautiful scenery and wildlife. Mark and Beth are wonderful hosts and captains. We know that our group was a bit different than the normal guests with three young children under 6 years old, but Mark and Beth were so kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. Our kids had so much fun hiking, kayaking, and exploring the island, and we had a truly amazing encounter with a whale that I think our children will always remember.

Chef Brenda's dishes were delectable, and she was so sweet to set up a cooking class for the girls. Alyssa and Cindy were always so kind and helpful, and our kids loved them.

The fishing was so much fun, and
we enjoyed relaxing at the lodge watching whales, otters, and bald eagles pass by. We stayed in the Coho cabin, which I loved. It was very comfortable with scenic ocean views. Photos just don't do this place justice. Our kids want to tell everyone about their Alaska family vacation, and now they pretend that their dolls are going to Alaska. My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer.

What a great place to take in the Beauty of Southeast Alaska.||Mark and Beth along with the whole staff were wonderful. Very attentive to your needs and wants. ||Our guide Gary was very knowledgeable about the area after being a guide for the past 20 years. He knows how to put you on the fish and great resource for tips on improving your fishing game. All your catch is cleaned, frozen, labeled and vacuum packed in airline ready boxes for transport home.||The food was amazing. Coming back to the lodge after a long day of fishing to a cold beer and some appetizers on the deck and smell of fresh made sourdough loaves still makes my mouth water. ||The lodge was clean and cozy and the nearby sauna was a great way to warm your bones after a long day fishing. ||We did some free dive spearfishing while there in hopes of finding some halibut, or salmon to take.||Although we didn't bag any monsters, the water was warmer than you would expect and we did find a nice bed of rock scallops that were graciously cooked up for us upon return.||All in all a wonderful trip to a most beautiful location with kind and knowledgeable staff and great fishing. What more can you ask for.||Thanks again Mark and Beth and hope to see you guys again next year.||

Arrived on Sunday by sea plane from Ketchican. Just a great one time experience flying over the water and islands on our way to Prince of Whales Island. When we got to Eagles Wings it was definately a wilderness resort with all the amenities we needed.||||Fished for three straight days limiting out each day on Salmon and Halibut. Toured Prince of Whales Island on the fourth day. Cabin was perfect and weather was ideal (end of July). Feel the value we received on this trip was definately there and the memories forever.

Thank you Beth, Mark, Kevin and Eric for fishing adventure of a lifetime for our brother Don. Rescheduling 2020 due to COVID made it happen a year later but it was worth the wait.||We all gained about 5# each from Kevin's cooking and Eric was phenomenal on the deck of the Beth Ellen. Saw more whales than I've seen in my life.||Appreciate all you did to make it a great time in Alaska.

My wife and I are 3 days departed from Mark, Beth and Eagle's Wings Wilderness Lodge and it's all we keep talking about. We are still reveling in the incredible memories, friendship and fellowship of the past week. These are the memories you hold onto for life.

I wish there was a way to give them more than 5 stars! Don't let the name fool you. Yes, this is wilderness. Pretty much as wild , rusticand remote as you could want, but this is the best of all worlds! It's full-service on all levels...from the fishing...to the meals...to the accommodations!

If you're looking for the corporate experience, this isn't it. Mark and Beth Farrar are not only the owners, but also your captains. They ONLY take 8 guests a week and the service is as personable as you will find anywhere. You arrive and are treated like family the whole time you are there.

My wife and I know about service as we've owned our own two fishing fleets and restaurant in Mexico for almost 30 years and have also traveled and fished extensively. There was nothing that Mark, Beth, Alyssa, Brenda or Kevin (couldn't do for us). Yup...that's the whole awesome staff!

Mark and Beth were great fun as our skippers (and we caught plenty of fish!). In fact, this was my wife's first Alaska experience and I think I've created a monster! Going back to Alaska is all she's talking about now. She's got the bug and caught her first salmon, halibut, lingcod and rockfish and although we only fished 2 days, we still brought back close to 100 pounds of beautifully packed fillets.

Alyssa was our all-around awesome deckhand; lodge assistant and go-to helper. Nothing she wouldn't or couldn't do for us or the other guests.

Brenda and Kevin are two guest-chefs from the S.Francisco bay area that created incredible meals like steamed clams; fresh breads; crab casserole; salmon poke and sashimi and chowder to name-a-few. Eagle's Wings is NOT the place to be on a diet!

The lodge and cabins themselves are cozy and comfortable and the kind of place that would just be great to read a book and watch the wilderness surround you. The whole compound and area is simply magical. There's really nothing around for...well...forever! Still, we saw an abundance of wildlife like otters, sealions and so many whales! We even took an off-day and drove 12 miles down a gravel road to watch bears catch salmon!

Just can't say enough about the entire experience except we can't wait to get back and we're a bit worried that too many folks know about this special place on the planet and they won't have room for us next time! We were very blessed to have spent time here!
