This was our second time staying at Dunning Ranch Suites. This place just feels like home with a wonderful full kitchen (every imaginable gadget), great dining room and plenty of cozy seating. The setting in vineyard country is stunning and very private. We love sitting on the front porch looking out into the beautiful forrest and vineyard setting. We had our German Shepherd, Sasha, and she loves it, too. Jim Dunning is always helpful if needed. The Paso Robles area is special so this will be a regular stop for us.

We were nestled in an enchanting place - between an oak wood and a vineyard. The suite was cozy and comfortable! A very well appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds, great big fluffy towels! Just sitting on the porch having a glass of wine and some snacks was a huge treat! We made reservations at the adjacent vineyard for wine tasting when we arrived and totally enjoyed the excellent wine and the proprietor, Bob. The suites are off the beaten track, but it takes only about 10 minutes to get back to 101. Can't recommend it highly enough!

We stayed in Suite #2 and really enjoyed it. It is well appointed - especially the kitchen - with very comfy beds and fluffy towels. It's a delight to sit on the porch with a glass of wine and some snacks and take in the oak wood on one side and the vineyard on the other. There's a BBQ and a seats outside which make it a great spot for a picnic. We made a tasting appointment with the adjacent vineyard and really enjoyed the wine and the winemaker, Bob. Definitely recommend this spot - it's a little bit of magic!

Dunning Ranch exceeded my expectations. Quiet getaway from the city on the grounds of Dunning Vineyards. Only 10 mins from town; 30 mins from Hearst Castle in San Simeon. Enjoy nature and the outdoors with visits from deer and wild turkey. Wine tasting open daily right at your back door. Pinot Noir and Zinfandel were my faves!

The place is quiet, peaceful and filled with beautiful deer, turkeys and did I mention deer? What a treat is was to share their space. Morning, noon or night, you will see them. They are skittish so they will likely run if you try to get anywhere near them so admire them from a far and with your camera.||||We were up in Suite 1. It was perfect for the 2 of us. Our friends, party of 4 rented the downstairs, Suite 2. The whole set up was perfect! The remote location was ideal with all the natural beauty surrounding us and to top it off, a wonderful little winery...right there with us. The roads are winding and narrow so we didn't drive in the dark or after drinking. If you plan on visiting wineries or are there for events, best to Uber which we did and worked perfectly! ||||The 2 days went by too quickly but we sure enjoyed the picnic bench over looking the vineyard watching the sunset over the hill with glasses of wine. Yes, I can see us returning here again...hopefully soon!

Dunning Ranch was a wonderful place to connect with friends and family. We had both suites and enjoyed the peaceful outdoor areas so much. We were able to purchase wine at the winery to have with our dinner. We would definitely recommend||Dunning Ranch and would like to return some day!

What a delightful, secluded getaway in Paso Robles wine country. The ranch house was very well appointed. Super clean and comfortable with all the amenities. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the spacious porch and in the garden fire pit area overlooking the vineyard. This is a great place to decompress from busy city life.

Peaceful, quiet, remote setting next to the Dunning Winery. Rented the upstairs suite which was like being in a tree house. Christine welcomed me and provide a quick overview of the suite. There is a small refrigerator and microwave. Christine had the refrig stocked with orange juice, milk, cream, coffee, butter, cream cheese, potato chips and protein bars. The counter also provided cereal, popcorn and other snacks. All which was much appreciated during our two night stay. On the second night, we came back and there were freshly made brownies waiting which we enjoyed with a hearty bottle of wine after grilling our steak from J&R Meats, Paso Robles. A lot of effort and thought is given into making your stay enjoyable and comfortable. |My recommendation for improvements- Some of the furniture could be updated. The mattress is soft and the couch is starting to break down. I would also recommend upgrading to a larger flat screen TV. There was free wi-fi, but the speed was so slow it took 15 minutes to download my email and I gave up. Overall the place was clean, but the windows were dirty and the place could of used a light dusting.
