We have been taking our Layla (4) to vaulting classes for 4 months and we just adore Davon Ranch, Diana and Kaylynn. They are professional and kind and we always look forward to training. Layla is the youngest girls on the team and the older girls are so sweet and supportive, and she loves it too.

My daughter has vaulted with Davon Ranch for over two years. They have multiple vaulting horses that are well taken care of. Their ranch is well maintained and the owners are very kind. My daughter loves going to practice twice a week. She’s learned so much from one of the best vaulters in the world!

I have been bringing my daughter to Davon Ranch for a few years now and we love it! She started out just doing regular lessons and now she competes as an Equestrian vaulter. Diana and Kylynn are amazing. They give so much of their time, effort, and love to everyone. We had been to a few other ranches before we settled at Davon and I can tell you that I never felt as safe and taken care of as I do at Davon. They treat their horses with so much respect, and have shown my daughter how to properly care and handle them. Diana and Kylynn have given my daughter a passion for a sport that we didn’t even know existed a few years ago. We are so thankful to have found them!

Davon Ranch is located in beautiful La Cresta, Ca. with close access to amazing trails in the Santa Rosa Plateau. You can ride for hours surrounded by old oak trees and well groomed trails. It truly is a magical setting.

The ranch has a nice big arena with a viewing deck, tack room with bathroom, barn stalls, mare motel, turn out pens and more. I keep my two miniature donkeys, Jack and Oakley, at Davon Ranch and they are well taken care of. I live far away so I don’t see them as often as I would like but I always know that they are in good hands.

I’ve known the owner of the ranch and her family for over 30 years. Diana, has been around horses her whole life and is very knowledgeable. She loves people and animals and will spend a lot of time getting to know you. You will see her husband around the ranch lending a hand, fixing and repairing and making everything look nice. Her daughters are excellent vaulters and love to share their expertise and knowledge with new, up and coming vaulters. Their son is studying hard at college but when you see him at the ranch he will always greet you with a warm smile.

This is a ranch that is pretty on all the photos and at first glance. I had my horse boarded at Devon Ranch for years,( because I couldn’t find another facility that would take a draft horse). What I experienced is something I hope no other horse owner should ever go through. Empty water buckets in the middle of hot weather, horses up to their ankles in mud in the winter rains, filthy box stalls,, horses without any shelter even during the worst of weather. The saddest part is my horse wasn’t taken care of properly by the man who works for the owner and despite his obvious neglect for the horses is still working there. My horse eventually died, she became sick, colic, hoof diseases and other issues. I hope you think twice and look past the pretty trails in the area, the pictures and really look at how so many of the horses at Devon ranch are truly treated, without regard for their health, without any full time ranch hand to oversee the daily neglects. Horses will colic and there is no one around for many hours to even notice. So don’t have your heart broken like mine, keep your horse at a facility with owners who know how to take proper care of horses, stay away from this ranch. It’s sad to see the owner of the ranch is being so deceptive about how she matains her ranch that she now has family and frirnds( not even boarders) putting up positive reviews. My horse, Aria is still dead and the owner won’t take any responsibility for all the neglect that led to her death. The owner Diana was supposed to be my friend. Her, when I became sick with .cancer she neglected my horse. Some friend. Diana kept telling me she loved Aria but she mis fed my horse, allowed her to stand in her own filth..Often in the summer the horses would be out of water, she didn’t care, I’d come by to fill up water bowls. When a horse coliced she ask me ro take care of the horse if she was off visiting with friends,. Is this the environment you’d want YOUR horse living in?
My horse died of neglect due to the owner, Diana. If you read all these 5 star reviews that suddenly have appeared, they are from the trainer at the ranch who makes a profit by staying there, people I never saw in my many years of boarding ( personal friends of Diana’s) and even a review from her daughter, all violations of Googles advertising policies. The one boarder who did write a 5 star review recently was looking for another facility to keep her horses these last few years, that’s because her horses are treated poorly at this ranch. I can attest to this statement because she told me in those exact words.Since I wrote my review the ranch owner has asked the trainer who works at her ranch, along with the owners daughter to give the ranch 5 star reviews. The owner also had previous boarders who haven’t boarded at the ranch in many years to write five star reviews. Also, one of the current boarders was told to write up a positive review. The problem with that review is this boarder is currently looking for another ranch to board her horses due to ongoing neglect of the horses. This is an owner who once I posted my review she strong armed the boarders and the trainer who works at her facility to write 5 star reviews. The trainer, Charla, was actively looking for another facility to keep all of her clients horses when my horse Aria died. Charla told me and other boarders that Dian’s was negligent with her lack of care and knowledge and the facility was dangerous to our horses. Sadly we couldn’t find another facility in time and my horse died from Diana’s neglect and ignorance. This is an owner woman who spends her money and tie looking for shows to go to, not leaving her boarders horses in the hands of a knowledgeable person. Be aware that your horse will go days without anyone other than a ranch hand who has a drinking program in charge of your beloved horses. A man that abused his own dog at the ranch, neglecting g to feed his dog, leaving it with no food, no water in a filthy small pen overrun with feces. He curses at the animals, is heavy handed and stays because “ he’s cheap.”

Davon Ranch is a beautiful facility in a quiet, idyllic setting, nestled in a quaint valley in La Cresta, Murrieta, Ca. This spacious facility features barn stalls with runs, pipe corrals with covers, large turnout pens, and a centrally located large riding arena. Ranch owner Diana is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and very fastidious about the care and services of the horses at her facility. She will go the extra mile to make sure your horse is well-fed, comfortable and cared-for. The added bonus of close access to the amazing riding trails of the Santa Rosa Plateau makes the choice even easier...Davon Ranch is the perfect home for your horses.

I never write reviews but I have to set the record straight. My horses have been boarded at Davon Ranch for 12 years. Dianna is very knowledgeable in horse care and treats mine as if they were her own. ie: when I was out of town one of mine showed signs of colic. Dianna moved him into her barn and spent the night with him. I can't thank her enough and she saved me a very expensive vet bill. I trust her completely. Dianna and Davon ranch are wonderful.

If your looking for quality care and a beautiful place where you can board your horse, look no further. I truly can say, I haven't seen any place that offers so much dedication and love for their animals . Very professional and clean, they will go the extra mile to make sure you feel part of the ranch.
There's not only good communication but they will actually listen to your needs and work with you to assure your horse gets the care it needs.
If I could give 10 stars , I would without a second thought.
