I was told that I would have no roommate for Summer 2023. My housing portal continued to confirm I would have no roommate, and every time I checked with housing they would also continue to confirm.

Today, the day before move-in, the building I'm assigned to has suddenly changed and now I have 3 roommates that I did not have any part in choosing.

Currently on hold with the housing office to see why they decided to suddenly change everything about my reservation. This is ridiculous, they've already charged us for an extra 2 months before we've even moved in, the least they could do is keep everything consistent, but apparently that's just too difficult.

Mikala at the front is rude. The students here are rude too. Mikala was on the phone so I was waiting. I was 1st in line, after she hangs up, a student behind me goes straight to Mikala to ask questions to be on the student housing wait list. I was like, I was waiting in line. He gives me attitude. What in the world? So rude! I told her I was picking up meal plan card and she told me to go to the other table. So I was waiting behind another student for 10-15 minutes because no Meal Plan worker was there. Mikala didn't even help by notifying the meal plan worker that students were waiting. And she never even stopped the line cutter, not even trying to say that I was 1st in line. Plus, when there was no line, Mikala and another worker was just talking smack against students. I don't understand how these dumb workers are employed at csun.

Absolute best housing office at CSUN. Drove around Northridge aimlessly for hours looking for alternatives. Met a really nice homeless man and gave him 5 bucks. But I ended up returning to the original CSUN housing office because it is the best housing office..... at CSUN
