Full hookups, a good amount of privacy between sites, extremely friendly owners (Tom and Brian are awesome!), a fantastic location just 2 miles down the road from Lake Davis... I mean what else can you ask for? We will definitely be back!

Tom and Brian were fantastic. When we first arrived, it was like Les Schwab, Brian almost came running out to greet us!
All the sites were very large and everywhere you looked was a wonderful view. They were clean and the entire park was well-maintained. Very private and very quiet. The water was delicious!
While talking with Brian and Tom we found out that they have plans for even more services in the next year or two.
Here are some pictures taken from our spot, #8.
Thank you again for everything, we'll be seeing you soon.

PERFECT!!! It's like staying at a nature retreat but with all the modern conveniences. Easy access to the main road, the hook-ups are convenient, and the water alone is worth the trip… I want to bottle it and bring it home!

The cell service is great (we had 4G the whole time), and the owner (Tom) is helpful and you can tell he truly loves the area. He’s like a personal tour guide if you want to see the ‘roads less traveled.’ CAN’T WAIT TO RETURN!

My experience here at Crocker Springs RV park has been nothing but positive. The location, atmosphere, and spacious sites are second to none. Mr. Ward, the owner/operator is very gracious and generous and does everything to make your stay pleasant. I have personally been here for 9 mos. and it is so quiet and peaceful and beautiful as it is located in Plumas Nat'l forest right down the road from gorgeous Lake Davis and the store is conveniently located within easy walking distance. If you love the high country, peace and quiet, fishing, hiking, biking, etc...

I replied to an add for a trailer rental at Crocker Springs. Tom Ward (owner) told me that the trailer was very clean and that everything in the trailer worked. I asked if the trailer would be ready for me to move in if I came the following day and Tom said, "yes." The next morning I drove 6 hours with my packed car, did a cursory walk through, then paid Tom for the remainder of that month, the upcoming month, and the cleaning deposit; after which he told me that he wanted more rent then advertised and that the cleaning deposit would be $50 more. (He said his wife told him to increase the amounts). I paid the extra cleaning but not higher rent. After I paid, Tom informed me that I couldn't stay that night as the water heater didn't work. I had to drive to Susanville, (two hours away) Portola was too expensive. The following day Tom told me that the water heater still wasn't fixed; I couldn't afford another night in a hotel, so he let me in, and I discovered that the place was filthy! I had to beg him to fix the broken faucet in the kitchen so I would have water to clean with. I cleaned everything - - - taking hours. There were cigarettes butts in the cupboards, the mattress was filthy, the stove was full of dirt and grease, there was vomit or feces running down the toilet, etc. Then Tom told me the heater didn’t work, so he loaned me a portable, one that didn't work either. I froze each night, even with lots of blankets. I slept on the couch as the mattress was filthy. No propane (broken) so could not cook. He said he needed a part for the propane, but didn't get it for 5 days after my arrival. I had no hot water the entire time I stayed there (8 days). After three days of this, Tom said the water heater couldn't be fixed until he bought a $20 part, and he didn't have the money - - - I gave him an additional $20 for that. It snowed while I was there, and I had to take icy cold showers. After 8 days, I was sick, (ended up with pneumonia) tired and frustrated. Since I still had no hot water, I told Tom that I was leaving, and he attempted to talk me into staying, telling me I was overreacting & that his wife would be mad if I left. I left the next morning. Knowing I had no hot water or adequate heat, Tom would take off with his friends and drink, rather than get business done. He told me his father bought the business for him, so not sure how invested he is in its management. He refuses to reimburse me for any monies I paid him, $760. He initially appeared to be a nice guy, but my entire experience was torturous, and I only hit on the highlights - - - there is so much more to my nightmare.

Really nice RV park in a quiet location, in the trees, off the main road. The spaces are large and offer lots of privacy and some lovely views. The owner is accommodating and friendly.
