This is my third time sharing a 5-star review about Cogir of Manteca, and I cannot stress enough how pleased we are with everything after almost five months of my mom being a resident in their community. From the very beginning, Crystal in Admissions was absolutely fabulous. She made my mom feel so comfortable and ensured a smooth transition from living in her own home to becoming part of the Cogir family.
The entire staff has been incredibly supportive—continued thanks to Nancy, Angie, Cindy, Mary, Gloria, Marissa, Ellie and especially the Director, Amy Jo (just to name a few as the entire staff deserves to be mentioned)….You can truly see how the positive and inviting culture comes from the top down. However, it’s clear that each staff member plays a vital role in creating a warm, personable and welcoming environment that feels like home.
As a family member, I feel completely at ease knowing my mom is getting the care, assistance, and support she needs. The daily meals prepared by Luce and her team are absolutely top-notch—like dining at a five-star restaurant! The community itself is impeccably maintained, with constant updates to ensure the grounds look beautiful and inviting.
After visiting 12 different communities, we are so happy we chose Cogir of Manteca for my mom to call home. The entire staff has made this experience truly exceptional, and we are beyond grateful. I’ll continue to update our experience every few months, but for now, thank you to everyone at Cogir for making such a difference in my mom’s life and ours.

Cogir Senior Residence Community has truly been a blessing in disguise for not only my father but myself. To find Cogir Manteca, I spoke to a representative from A Place For Mom and the representative directed me to two different facilities in which Cogir Manteca was one of them. From the very first conversation that I had with Crystal (who is very personable, kind and warm) I knew this would be a place my Dad could call home. And after touring the two different facilities provided to me for Senior Living, my Dad fell in love with Cogir Manteca. I cannot begin to explain how helpful and polite ALL the staff has been to not only my father but to me. Since his move in date in August, I have experienced and observed the staff going far beyond the norm to assist and accommodate both the residents and their family members. This place is a wonderful hidden gem and I look forward to being a part of the Cogir family so that my Dad can live comfortably for the rest of his days.

My first time here with my mom and sister it was a great experience. The residents were having a blast at their BBQ and the mayor of Manteca walked in after we did which was pretty neat! The residents were very friendly and the staff was accommodating. My mom looked at a couple apartments with Crystal and loved their new upgraded apartments! She decided to go forward after picking one with a great view! I’m so happy she decided to make this move on her own.
Moving in next week, mom is excited not to be alone anymore.

Our family was very pleased with the service and care my father received at Cogir. The staff was very kind and attentive right up to the end. We had a particularly difficult situation and the staff led by Cyndi did a wonderful job taking care of very sensitive details. I would highly recommend Cogir for families looking for a place for their loved ones.

Total lack of interdepartmental communication. People don't inform people in other departments about changes thus making it almost impossible for some departments to make long range plans for their activities or having to cancel things at last minute.
Also seems as though all Cogir cares about is how much income they can generate from this place. Cogir won't pay their employees Christmas bonus, thus forcing employees to do activities to raise their own bonus.
On plus side the residents here seem to be for most part friendly and accepting. This place has a very positive vibe when you walk in.
Eileen and Amanda both employees in activities department do outstanding jobs considering the conditions they are forced to work under. Residents have no issues getting to and from appointments or shopping.

I had a wonderful tour at Cogir at Manteca. They have an independent -assisted living community that truly feels like home when you walk in. The apartments are spacious and well-equipped with full-sized kitchens, perfect for us married couples or people who still like to do some cooking.

The food we tried was is exceptional, offering a diverse menu with quit a few choices. Crystal the sales lady was very pleasant and quit funny she made us feel very comfortable. We all had the beef stroganoff and salad bar and it was really good!

What stood out most was how personable and kind the residents and staff were in the dining room! We really liked the 2 bedroom 2 bath we have some thinking to do but we did enjoy our visit.

Took my mom here today with my brother to get information on senior care. I met with Crystal today and she was very informative and made my mom comfortable. We were not looking to make a decision today but after our tour and showing my mom the perfect apartment she decided she was done looking. They had a ground floor with a fenced in patio for her dog. She even liked they had larger refrigerators and a small stove she could still cook if she wanted too.
We even met a few residents that said they loved the place and invited my mom to play cards next time she came to visit. The food looked really good we just didn't have time to stay but Crystal offered which was very nice! We felt very comfortable there. Cindy the other sales lady went over all the move in paper work with us and helped my mom get a wheelchair so my mom wouldn't get tired from the tour. Just a good experience and I'm happy my mom made her decision to go with Cogir.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Crystal during my search for a memory care community, and I can't say enough good things about her! From our very first interaction, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about senior living. She took the time to listen to my needs and preferences, guiding her through the options with patience and understanding. Jessica that over sees the memory care was kind enough to give me her card with her personal number if I had any questions. Crystal provided valuable insights and answered all my questions, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Waiting on the doctor to complete the orders and crossing our fingers we can get him in this weekend! I think this is going to be a great fit for him.
