We’ve been bringing our pup to CityDog since we adopted her 3.5 years ago and we are so grateful for having this place to bring her to. It’s conveniently located in Mountain View and we feel safe and secure with she is in their care. Our dog is introverted and we love how she gets to sit off to the side or interact when she wants to. She loves having the windows to look out for her mommies and we love that she gets that stimulation to watch the outside world. My favorite thing is the greetings we get upon arrival when everyone knows our dogs name and makes her feel welcome! The manager Carolyn has given us so much comfort and has shown how much she loves and cares for each and every dog. She’s auntie Carolyn! The staff are all hands on deck when things get busy and we appreciate their efforts! This is the only place we trust boarding Gemma as we know the staff will be mindful and attentive to our dog’s needs for her dietary restrictions and meds, walks, etc! We love CityDog!

I recently walked by this dog daycare and noticed a significant issue with their setup. The facility has large open windows facing the street, which seems to cause distress to the dogs inside. When I walked past the window, a staff member came out and asked me not to get close because the dogs dislike people walking by.

If the dogs are stressed by people passing by, why have such large windows facing a busy street? It seems like the design prioritizes attracting public attention over the well-being of the dogs. This setup is not only counterintuitive but also unfair to the animals who are supposed to be in a safe and comfortable environment.

I hope the daycare reconsiders this design choice and prioritizes the comfort and mental health of the dogs in their care.

I have been bringing my pup here for a few weeks and he has really been enjoying it. I purchased a boarding package up front so they were even kind enough to comp us a few day care visits so that he could get used to the facility before he stayed there for a few days straight. I loved the access to the cameras as well, it was great being able to check in on my pup from across the country and see that he was doing well!

We took our 8-month-old Toy Poodle, Sushi, to City Dogs for her grooming, due to its convenient location. Our initial visit was a bit rocky due to a slight delay leading to miscommunication with our groomer, Jessica, resulting to a haircut that was adorable but not exactly what we wanted for Sushi. However, the manager, Carolyn, was very understanding and accommodating about our concerns.

On our second visit, Jessica ensured a better communication, provided excellent service, giving Sushi a fantastic haircut and ensuring she was comfortable throughout the process. The staff at City Dogs, especially Jessica and Carolyn, are professional, patient, and genuinely care about delivering quality results and understanding pet owners' expectations.

What impressed us most was their commitment to service quality, timely grooming, and their ability to create a safe place for our pups. We highly recommend City Dogs for reliable and top-notch grooming services.

TLDR: Never go there. This place is so rude and unprofessional. The staff hurt my dog in a five mins temper test.
My first wrong decision was to visit this place. It’s on a busy main road, so I passed by their window when walking to their front door. A font desk person suddenly opened the door and asked me not to walk on the road near their window. I am not sure the staff did this to every pedestrian or resident nearby, or it was on a race consideration because the following parts were worse.

I entered their site, receiving cold response from the front desk. Then the person even answered a long call, letting me and my dog standing there embarrassed.

Finally the front desk person finished the call. But it was the beginning of the worst part. The front desk person did not ask anything about my dog’s temper and habits like every other place did. The person pulled my dog and left him the dog group directly. My dog was so stressed out and just wanted to leave.

My last wrong decision was leaving politely without carefully checking my dog. When driving home, I saw my dog was hurt on front leg. The wound is deep, in a half round shape, looking like caused by nails or a screw cap.

For context, my dog went to several boarding places during his 10 years’ life. He’s not very social with dogs but loves people. It is the first time he got hurt at a splash.

All in all, I don’t recommend any one going there unless you like talking with rude unprofessional staff, watching them rolling their eyes, and hurt your pet.

They go above and beyond to ensure our furry friend feels loved, safe, and happy. The staff is always attentive, friendly, and provides regular updates. We trust them completely and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch dog boarding facility.
