It's walking distance to downtown. I did not have to struggle for parking like I have in other hotels, there are no hidden fees, the pool is a nice size and they also have a kid pool for the babies. It was nice to have free breakfast included for the price. The rooms are nice size and comfortable. I would give it a 5 stars but the door to the bathroom was hard to open, it seemed to get stuck, the freezer did not properly work, but there's an ice machine. The pool towels are very small. It would've been nice to have different eggs, hard boiled or cheese omelet are your only egg options. I liked my stay, I was there 5 nights. I will definitely be staying here next time.

Try somewhere else! From the outside this place looks ok but my room had issues. Shower broke, no housekeeping in between nights. Drains did not drain so I took a shower with water up to my ankles. They Mowed lawn while I ate breakfast outside. Almost gagged from the dust. Too cap it off hair wrapped around the breakfast sausage. Last but not least I did not get the wake up call I scheduled. The beds were clean and they did let me check out so I could switch hotels. Don't make the same mistake and stay here.

Strengths included the very nice pool area that included a main pool, a smaller wading pool for kids, and a larger than average hot tub. The pool area also included numerous nice tables with umbrellas. Landscaping was very nice. Breakfast was included and was more than just a simple pastries, it included eggs and sausage. The staff was particularly friendly.

Some negative aspects included the outdated rooms and exterior. Rooms seemed a bit small. The outside-facing rooms were also not so great in the summer desert heat. With some renovations in a few areas. this location could be top notch again.

Staff indicated that this hotel was going through a name change and would soon no longer be affiliated with the Comfort Inn brand nor Choice Hotels group.

Good:
The included breakfast was better than expected.
Room was spacious, good desk, internet just worked.

Not so good:
The AC in the first room has no digital temperature, just more/less cold.
In both rooms, it blows directly on your face in the first bed, and there is no way to redirect the air
no fridge (or microwave)

All in all very good value for the price

The shower didn't work (no water), front desk sent maintenance man, took 20-25 minutes for him to show up. Took him about 10 minutes to fix it; great now we are already going to be late. I get in the shower and get the temp adjusted (I thought anyway) and first the water turns scalding and after a couple of minutes it turns cold (not warm but cold), this continues for the length of my shower and then my husband's shower. When I told the front desk about it she was like; never heard of such a thing. I asked if they were, by law, suppose to have an anti-scald valve on all their showers; she said no but I don't think she even knew what I was talking about. Because of Valentines Day, Presidents weekend, and Modernist week in Palm Springs we had to pay over $400 for two nights.
Trust us we will never stay there again and I intend to tell everyone I know about it.

Place sucks. Rooms are tiny. No fridge. Pools are way too hot to get in. A/C doesn't cool the room enough. Should have stayed at the Westin Mission Hills. Not worth the amount to we paid for 1 night.
