Casa Melissa is without doubt the best hostel in San Francisco.

Its located right in the middle of North Beach and that means amazing restaurants around you, great bars for going out and everything what you need is close by.
The Fisherman’s wharf, Chinatown and Ghirardelli Square are in a walking distance.
The 45,30 and 8 bus stations are across the street.
The neighborhood is safe and clean.

There is a kitchen and a laundry in the building which is way cheaper than the ones outside.
The rooms are really good, they come furnished and some of them have amazing views on the Coit tower and Washington square.
The building has an elevator.

The monthly rent is the same like in other Hostels, if not cheaper.
The deposit is smaller than the monthly rent.

But the best thing about this place is definitely the manager. Ghulam will always be there for you, he is super responsive and caring, if you have a problem with anything he will fix it super fast and if you need help with something he will be there for you.

Ben otelde uzun süre kaldım çok güzel ve güvenli yerde. Mutfak birimi güzel her zaman müsait yemek yapmak için. Yüreyerek market ihtiyacınızı giderirsiniz. Merkezi konumda kışın ısınma sorunu yok. Çamaşırhanesi var her zaman müsait. Toplu taşıma araçları yanında geçiyor arabanız yoksa da sorun yaşamazsınız. Arabanız varsa yakın yerlerde park yerleri çok fazla var. San Francisco’ya göre park sorunu yok. Kesinlikle kalmayı tavsiye ediyorum.

Casa Melissa is the best hotel that you could
Stay at the heart of North Beach. Great value, very well managed and the best over all you are a few minutes from pier 39, Lombard street and all the best restaurants in SF.

The hotel is super safe and clean!

My wife and I lived in Casa Melissa for 2 years. It is a nice place located really close to a lot of touristic attractions and surrounded by varied and incredibly good restaurants (especially pizza!).

The place counts with multiple bathrooms and kitchens that are shared by the tenants. Common areas are cleaned every other day, and they are usually in good condition.

The front corner room where we lived had these huge windows, which kept the room with a nice lighting all the time and with a cool view to Washington Square park. During peak hours it could get noisy (especially Friday night).

GR the manager was really atentive, he was reachable most of the time for any concern we had and you could always feel good energy from him.

GR is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable, and the location is fantastic! Great neighbourhood and views from the room, would definitely recommend if you're looking for a reasonably priced place while temporarily in the city.

We stayed for almost 4 months, decent place, amazing location to be honest, in the middle of a nice area close to the downtown close to the pier, we had the best experience! Cheap too. Great landlord!
