This is small but very practical and cute hotel. It is just great. I would’ve given it five stars but the fact that there is nobody there to provide you any kind of service we need It, made me give it just four stars. The rooms are great, are perfect, are very cozy. They are very very clean and they have everything that you need. The beds and pillows and sheets were very comfortable and nice, the restroom was very clean and had everything what we needed. I love the fact that the parking it’s for free and it’s right in front of your room and also I love the two picnic tables that were on the side, they were very useful and cute.
We only had one incident because one of my elderly parents by mistake Locked the door from inside and we weren’t able to contact nobody who could help us, we tried to text and call the lady who helped us doing the reservation over the phone, but it was impossible. At the end no body contacted us but we were very lucky since we were able to open the door without breaking it, but I could not imagine what would’ve happened if we were not able to open the door and that makes me feel scared. I definitely understand that at the end that was our mistake and it was on our end to follow instructions but again service was very poor.
Overall, I really loved the place. It has a very nice location and everything what you need within the room. I will definitely recommend this place.

We have been to Wrightwood a few times but this was the first time staying over. Canyon Creek Inn was our choice and it was a good one. We had room 1. It was beautifully decorated, warm and cozy. The bed was so comfortable. The price was great. Online reservation was very easy. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

My family's first time to Mountain High and we could not have stayed in a better spot! We stayed in Room 1(pictures on website). The room was warm and cozy, beautifully decorated, and very clean(just like the pictures). Good coffee for the morning time included!

The location was great! Grocery store, bank, restaurants, rentals, practically everything you need all within walking distance.

Access to the room was all done via text. Never met with anyone face to face but everything was hassle free. We will be staying here again next time we go up that way. If you're looking for a spot near Mountain High/Wrightwood, this is it!!

I stayed here during a mini snowboard vacation with my son. Great choice! Nestled in the town center it was an easy walk to dining and less than 10 minutes to Mt. High. Parking is right out front. The room amenities are up-to-date, clean and functional. Just very nice accommodations. ||||I do have to observations I'd like to offer:There was a connecting door between our room and the next cabin which did have some noise leakage. Nothing horrible but something to bear in mind. It would be nice if a microwave was available. That would top off this room as just kind of an all-around perfect location. ||||I understand the management likely doesn't want food preparation to spoil the nice rooms. However, perhaps asking for a food 'security deposit' of $100 would deter guests from getting too carried away. Other than those two observations...I will definitely be back!

The lady taking the reservations was very pleasant. I loved the room. The air worked amazing. Decorated super cute. The bed and bedding was soft and comfortable. I definitely would recommend this place. I have stayed at other local hotels/cabins and this one is the best. I plan to come back.

Do not Book here. I paid in advance to reserve time this December and she has not responded nor returned any calls. Scam. Online I saw the property was sold in August 2023. This is absolutely terrible. I will gather information and make sure you do not go around scamming other people. You take people’s hard working money and run with it? How far will you go?

My family stayed in one of the cabins here. The cabin is clean and plenty of room for 5 people.The couch and chair were comfortable. Nice simple decor and a balcony that my grandmother could sit on.

The issues I had include inadequate heating and broken control knob in the bedroom, broken window in same room, uncomfortable beds, a rug with bent ends that we all kept tripping on, the firewood tongs are hard to stir the fire with, one of the stove burners is broken, cant close the kitchen blinds, and the extra linens are not sealed in anything that keeps the dust and dirt out. I tolerated all of this, although a certain standard comes with the price you pay.

Out of all the smaller issues the biggest problem was that I had washed dishes and then tried to give my 7 year old a bath at close to bed time, after being wet and cold in the snow, but I couldn't because the water tank needed 45 minutes to get hot again. I just wanted her to get a nice hot bath to warm up. My husband boiled water on the stove, but that just took too long. The rest of us will just shower when we get home. I was disappointed that the owner did not empathize with the situation but instead asked me "what do you want me to do about it?" Nothing I guess, because she didn't care.

This place has plenty of great reviews. I'm sorry I can't also give a great review too.

Within walking distance of a block to the local restaurants and bars, this inn has only 4 rooms, one with 2 very comfy queen size beds. The faux fireplace and down comforters keep the room warm. Minimal ammenities. No internet reception, and the TV is iffy at best. (Bring a book!) No onsite management....all done by text or phone. Parking lot full of snow and a big blocking berm from the snow plow....we were told where the shovels were! That's nice if you have the physical abilities to shovel, which i don;t, so we had to park at the local bank.
