Mountain Lodge fit our needs very well. We stayed here for a couple of appointments at a near by hospital. The staff is friendly and the fire place in the lobby and the outdoor fire pit are absolutely awesome!

Amazing place all around. So peaceful and beautiful. Always decorated for each holiday so beautiful. We were there before we got our home for a few weeks. A few (5) rambunctious kids and a dog. Great accommodations. We still frequently stop by for goodies. Myself and my kiddos adore the lodge and all the lovely ladies who work there. Beautiful place, beautiful company!

The room was comfortable, if not luxurious. Included refrigerator, microwave, DVD player (that's right), and a 10-ish year-old 32" Philips LCD TV. Dated, but not dirty or dilapidated. The best feature was the view. My west-facing window offered a fantastic scene of Denver and the Rockies. Very nice lobby with fireplace and large patio. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Really awesome. The room and amenities were great. We had a pet room with our 80lb GSD and it was spacious. Definitely loved the full kitchen and how they provided dishes and pans.

Housecleaning comes early in the morning so just be advised they'll be in around unless you put a Do Not Disturb sign out. But they're really good about that. The workers here are friendly.

There is a dog area out back with trash bin and doggy bags which is incredibly helpful and cool of them to have out.

I'll start with the good. This hotel is so nice! We stayed in a 2 bedroom, with a dining area, kitchen, and living area. It also had a washer and dryer and came with a basinet, which definitely came in handy for our little one. We really enjoyed staying there. Initially we called to see if they had any rooms available and the lady that my husband spoke with said they had about 20 rooms available. We were driving from Texas and the reception kept cutting in and out so he didn't want to make a reservation over the phone he just wanted to make sure there were rooms available since were were about an hour away. Once we got close to the base, my husband called again and was going to just make the reservation since we had our 2 year old and 3 week old baby with us, we didn't want to have to wait to get a room when we got there. The guy he spoke with said they didn't have any rooms available. My husband told him he spoke with someone about an hour ago and they said there was 20 rooms available, and the guy said the rooms are already sold out. So we went there anyways, and when I asked for a room the lady gave me one. So not too sure why the guy was lying about not having any rooms available, but my suggestion is go anyways to get a room if you need one. Because it seems someone there can't be trusted.

Great location in Aurora and the east side of Denver. Great size rooms and very friendly staff with of course great security. Close to off base restaurants and shopping if onbase facilities are not available. Onbase facilities are less than a 10 min drive away and there are plenty of places to walk around lodging and get some fresh air. Access to downtown Denver is about 30 min away and no big deal with a variety of ways to get there. Also not far if you need to hop on either I-70 or 470. This is my go to place in Denver/Aurora.

Not pet friendly! "Pet friendly" rooms are not cleaned well between guests (my socks are now black after washing), and the pet policy is at the whim on the manager, who I was unable to speak to for 2 months before I arrive, no matter when I called. When I arrived, the GM condescendingly told me "well I boarded my dogs this weekend," as if that makes it easy to find a boarder for a month starting on a holiday weekend.

We've stayed here several times as our daughter and her husband, baby live in Aurora. It is a very nice place with friendly staff and a great little coffee shop in the lobby. The nice fire pit outside is wonderful and a great place to sit in the evening to enjoy the cool air and stars. Note: the best way to find it is to look for the big white radar globes just to the side of it. Otherwise you may miss it as the signage lacks just a bit.
