I have always been impressed by the upkeep and appearance of Brookdale since before I moved my mother into this facility. The outside of the building is very well kept up as is the inside. They keep everything neat and smelling nice and it is in a great location. It is close to pretty much everything that someone would need. The staff once my mother has moved in has been very nice and helpful when needed. The dining area is very nicely made up for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I love the fact that there is a hairdresser that comes in for haircuts and to do her nails if she wants. I normally take her out to get those things done but, I do like the fact that it is there for everyone to use. In the time that we have lived here we have been very happy with the staff and the location of Brookdale.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting my grandmother at Brookdale Gardens of Tarzana and I must say, I was impressed by the level of care and attention she received on her birthday and every day. The staff went above and beyond to make her birthday extra special, and my family and I couldn't be more grateful.

In particular, my family and I would like to give a shoutout to the kitchen staff, including Tony and his team, who truly went out of their way to make my grandmother's birthday one to remember.

The entire staff is warm and welcoming, and it was clear that they genuinely care about their residents. A big thanks to the staff who checks in on my grandmother regularly and to the all those who go above and beyond to ensure that she feels loved and appreciated.

We have helped several clients relocate to Brookdale Gardens of Tarzana. With aging, seniors need a place to be more safe facility and an environment they can be active.
They offer engaging activities and socializing opportunities that our parents need.
When the time is right for my parents, I will have them downsize into this community at Brookdale, staffs are friendly and the residents seemed happy.

Nicole at Brookdale Gardens of Tarzana was so welcoming to my 93 year old mother, that it made our review of the center so pleasant and positive. There was never a question that could not be quickly answered and she went out of her way to make my mother feel comfortable and part of the Brookdale "family," even as we toured the facility for the very first time. All of the amenities you could want are at Brookdale Gardens, including great food, activities every day, a salon, theater and most importantly a staff that truly cares about the well being of your loved one. I would highly recommend Brookdale Gardens as a safe, pleasant and welcoming community for any elderly family member that is looking for a home away from home . Although the transition was a little hard at first for my father in law from moving from his home, they have welcomed him, and treated him like family, he is doing so much better then on his own. We are very thankful for the staff! Great place to live! They are all so nice and compassionate.

Brookdale Gardens of Tarzana is a wonderful senior community. I am a professional senior move manager and it is always a pleasure to move residents into this Tarzana location. The location is fantastic. The rooms are lovely. And the community is terrific! Nicole Levey, their sales and marketing director, is a wonderful and caring person who truly cares about helping seniors find the right community.
