When my Dad broke his hip and ready to be released from skilled nursing, I knew I needed to find a place for him for respite care. After looking at many places I settled on Brookdale. I can't say enough good things about this location, the staff, and the management. From the moment my dad got to Brookdale the staff was amazing. Everyone was warm and welcoming. From the director and office staff helping with all the details of getting him settled, to the med techs to the activities director to the caregivers. The attention and care received was wonderful. Everyone is friendly and it is obvious that the staff enjoy what they do in the way they care for the residents. I would highly recommend Brookdale at Diablo Lodge.

Tony and his staff are responsive to helping us makes our apartments feel like home. When we asked for chair yoga Paula found someone. Several residents played golf. Aaron brought in an indoor putting green and we have weekly chances to putt. This activity draws a lot of residents wh come as spectators. I asked if we could piggyback with Danville seniors for activities and Paula brought a list from the senior center. Shopping trips are offered 2 times a week.they will also take us to a bank of our choice and to church if we want. The drivers take us to dr and dentist appointments. And help us get in and out of the vans.

Brookdale Diablo Lodge deserves the highest rating possible. As my 92 year old mom would say "Growing old is tough". As many people know, taking care of your elderly parents can be tough (although not as tough as growing old). Everyone on the Brookdale staff made it easier for my mom and for me. The dining staff made delicious and healthy meals, the med tech staff made sure my mom had her medicine, the care giver made sure my mom showered and made it to the dining room and the facility staff made sure my mom's clothes were washed weekly and her room was clean. They also made sure the building was clean and the grounds were beautifully kept. All of them showed my mom nothing but kindness and made her smile. All of them showed me nothing but kindness and made me smile. The director works TIRELESSLY to make sure Brookdale is a smooth running ship and is always available and responsive with whatever questions or concerns you have. I highly recommend Brookdale Diablo Lodge.

One of favorite places to teach. Paula, the activities director offers unlimited, fun, creative classes throughout the day.
I heard the food is very good, Diablo Lodge is very elegant, reminds me of a cruise ship.
The residents are very happy!

Brookdale took in my mom when she was in the end of her life. I spent a week looking for facilities and in the end chose this one. This place completely exceeded all expectations and the relief I felt that my mother was in a place that she liked and was taken care of was palpable. Everyone there went so far out of their way for my mother that I can only call them angels. My moms end was the best it could have possibly been because of their consideration and care. It felt like a family from day one to the last minute. I will always be indebted to them for the kindness they showed my mom and my whole family.

Great management and all the staff from each department !!! The Lodge just recently up dated and restored this lovely lady to her original beauty of many years serving Danville area and surrounding Bay Area with the highest quality of senior living anywhere ! In the five months I’ve been here with my husband I’ve needed a lot of tender care from the caregivers and bus driver for trips to many doctors appointments including my husbands too and the management has made all things I needed their top priority even if they actually had to do it, because of The COVID issues and difficulty in finding additional people to employ. Even so Brookdale Diablo Lodge Danville took care of everything with kindness and efficiency such dependable caring people ! I thought I would hate being in assisted living until I moved here , and discovered wonderful new people as my neighbors and meal mates and of course caring staff to help me as needed . I feel healthier, happier , and look forward to my healing knee replacement so I can WALK to the dining room and be with so many wonderful interesting seniors from over 100years to young and ( kidding) 78 years old like my husband and me .
