My daughter reserved a room for me for 2 weeks through Airbnb and I didn't even make it 3 hours. As far as location, it isn't the greatest. Being on a busy street (busy day and night) traffic noise was a constant as well as people walking in and out of the motel all night. The room had a smell that I can't quite figure out and it was only made worse with whatever air freshener was being used in an attempt to mask it. I got excited when I realized the bathroom window actually opened and I could possibly let some fresh air in....and then realized there was no screen on the window. The window faced a small fence that separated a field type area that houses local homeless camps and it was low enough that someone could easily climb in if they wanted to.... Or reach their hands in and wash them. Either way I had to take a hard pass on that option. My theory as to what the nature and business was of other "guests' in the motel was just speculation based on the few females I saw that were half dressed and the sketchy behavior of some guys that were in and out and congregating in the parking lot which left me feeling like sleeping in my car might be the only way to be certain it would still be there in the morning. That was enough for me to make the decision to leave and sacrifice the cost of one night there and get a refund for the rest. I like to live dangerously from time to time and walk on the wild side as well... But THAT experience was just lousy and preposterous. The embellished description on Airbnb of what to expect versus what you actually get proved to be very deceptive.

Rooms are nice, however the people here aren’t what you’d consider to be “Family Friendly “
If you’re traveling with children or if you are traveling alone, you’d have a much better chance at survival with a different location.

This is now operating as an Airbnb.

I want to start with the fact that the host refunded me without trouble, which I appreciate.

DO NOT book this location if you value your safety and money. Here is what made me leave 5 minutes after arriving:

-EXTREME overpowering chemical smell (I am a professional painter and have never smelled a paint smell of that intensity, especially since only one small area of the room was painted)
-Thick puddle of wet paint pooled in bottom of shower pan, but no new paint anywhere else in the room (?)
-Maintenance man was able to open the door to my room remotely with his phone (!!!) when I wasn't able to get in contact with the host. No lock or latch on the inside of the door (I would have left for this alone)
-Scrapes, scuffs, chips in walls, fixtures, fridge
-Dirt, footprints, paint chips, stains, and dents in the floor
-Grime, stickiness on kitchen surfaces
-Pictures falling off walls

I have never had an experience like this on Airbnb. It was honestly shocking.

Great location, and the service from the host was great. Unfortunately, I booked this on airbnb, and this place is not quite an airbnb location. My mother told me if I have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all, so I will leave it at that and will not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone reading this.

Quite ,staff ,staff is available anytime. Housekeeping is great. A great price for a small apt like room with stove and kitchen ware.
