Very affordable for a simple place! Friendly staff, clean room, lowest pet fees around, had a nice chat with the manager who was very welcoming. Overall if you need a room and don’t need anything fancy this is the place in Atascadero, for me 5/5. Also, I thought the beds were very comfortable!

I had an incredible experience staying at this hotel, and I cannot thank Nichole enough for her kindness and outstanding support. I accidentally left my driver's license behind, and Nichole went above and beyond by promptly shipping it back to me, ensuring I could catch my flight without any issues. Her coordination, sense of responsibility, and genuine care made all the difference.

The hospitality here is truly unmatched, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and efficient stay. I’ll definitely be returning with my family for our next trip.

Atascadero is an emerging community. Cowboy boots optional. Cal Poly graduates looking to remain in the area are choosing Atascadero, Paso Robles and Templeton bringing an influx of creativity, innovation and equity. Atascadero Lake Park: walking trail, paddle boats, playground. Quite the breakfast town: the Nest, Huckleberry's, Country Touch, Cowgirl Cafe. Restaurants: Cielo (rooftop bar), Atascadero Bistro, Sylvester's Burgers. There are multiple breweries and wine-tasting abounds. Sculpterra Winery is a unique property with an amazing sculpture garden. Dark Star Winery = 8 pours for $15.00. City Hall is a beautiful historic building adjacent to a downtown park. There is summer? Fun, old-fashioned county fair. Interesting "trivia" fact: the notorious outlaw, Jesse James hid out in nearby Paso Robles. Enjoy an area of California with a true western spirit!

My friend got the room and when she came back from the office she was in tears the guy at the front desk was really rude and he charged her a $200 deposit when we checked out the next morning he told her that her deposit will take 5-7 days to go back on her card but it didn't he kept the $200 we even cleaned the room before we left there was no reason to keep the money. I will never go to this motel and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know not to stay here. Oh and they were remodeling the room next to us and had music playing until 1am smh RUDE PEOPLE

It's been a while since I stayed someplace so bad I found it worth speaking up. I booked three days before our stay. I was traveling with friends who kept a different schedule so I wanted to be able to comfortably kill time in the morning. ||At check in, the person behind the desk never mentioned the breakfast listed on the website (on multiple pages on the website). I asked and he said, "oh we haven't done breakfast in a long time." ||I was annoyed and would have booked elsewhere had I known, but I was checked in so whatever. ||I got to my room and it smelled overwhelmingly of urine. The air worked well, and helped ventilate the smell, fortunately..||The chain lock on the door frame existed, but the lock on the door side was ripped out. There was an ice bin and no liner. The floors were new but notably sticky. The soap provided was a sliver that felt like pumice. The bed was at least consistently firm but was on a weird metal frame that is extremely painful when you kick it, and you will. Rooms come with a table and a chair, and some small drawers. I tried to open one and the front came off in my hand. The chair was so loudly rickety that I am certain the person below me was woken up when I sat down to work.||Lest you think I had the sole rough room, the friends I was with similarly had no chain lock, and at breakfast one said me, "I hope you didn't make the mistake I did and walk around barefoot. I saw the bottom of my feet this morning and almost gagged."||Pros: The gentleman at the desk was quite friendly. Rooms come with a microwave and mini-fridge. Table and chair make it comfortable if you need to get some work done. Temperature control works well.||Cons: not clean, not supremely safe, amenities are either flat out lies on the website or really not nice in the room.

For the price, it's 5 stars for sure.

- It's so affordable, and it's an inn.
There is a manager who is here 24/7 on-site if you need help.
- It is safe. No. I didn't see the weird people or criminal activity that some people suggested. Yes, there is noise until bedtime, but I could not hear them much afterwards.
- The place is decent in terms of cleanliness. Not perfect as it's somewhat outdated, but the cleaners obviously did their best in cleaning this place!
- AC worked. Heater worked. It's decently comfortable.

For the price, it's a steal, and I didn't keep an unrealistic expectation as if it was a Hilton or Marriott.
