I stayed in the 'Studio Cottage' and loved how private it felt, plus the garden nearby was such a nice touch. It was the perfect spot to explore Anderson Valley, super easy to visit vineyards and distilleries. Walking to Jumbos for a great burger was definitely a bonus. Such a chill and convenient place to stay!

I would like to give AVI a good review, but I cannot. We spent one of the most miserable nights of our lives in this establishment. There is no check in. Our room had a wall heater with a thermostat which we couldn’t make work, but we thought it might come on during the night. Turns out it doesn’t, and we froze. There was no one to help until 9:00 the following morning. Rooms are very small, though clean. There are better places to stay in the area, and I would. Anderson Valley Inn, NEVER AGAIN.

Lovely little cabin in the woods. Well supplied with coffee, creamers, soaps and shampoo. Toaster oven and microwave so you can make a small meal. No A/C but fans in the windows. Close to town where there is a grocery store and restaurant. Also a sparkling wine vineyard across the street which has wine tastings. We stopped here on our way to Mendocino.

Our stay was excellent. We were there for a wedding and this location was perfect for us. Very close to the venue but also close to other locations and activities that we could enjoy on our own. It is as advertised; small, private, clean, and comfortable.

We arrived at this hotel and found out there was no air conditioning. It was 100 degrees outside, and the only cooling device in the room was a ceiling fan. We never would have booked the room if we knew ahead of time that there was no A/C. It was a 'self-check-in' type hotel, so there was no staff on site to request a refund. Anderson valley can get very hot, so not having A/C should have been disclosed in advance. There was no refrigerator in the room either, and the bathroom was tiny. We didn't stay.

The room was funky and unique. This is a neat place to stay off the beaten path if you enjoy wine tasting.
It is a little close to the road so the car noise can be a problem with the windows open.

We got the suite. Had a queen bed with an armoire, 2nd bedroom with bed, and a kitchen with a fridge, toaster oven, microwave, coffee pot, dishes, glasses, silverware, etc. No tv, but we found we didn’t need one. It was quite roomy and comfortable. They have two outdoor semi-private lounging areas that we sat and drank our wine. It’s close to wineries and we loved Jumbo’s burgers right down the street. Easy check in and out. Great overall stay.
