Traveling with my husband, twins, and dog. We had been riding all day from Louisiana, and everybody was tired of it so when we stopped at the nearby gas station we decided to check the rates at this hotel. The rate was reasonable, but then I read the reviews I began expecting a horrible stay. To my surprise, our room was clean, comfortable, and bug-free save for a spider in the shower, and it met our needs. The only things I could recommend for improvement is double checking and fixing safety hazards like uncovered electrical outlets and possible wiring fire hazards in the lamp wiring. Only actual complaint is that the ice bucket - which we did not need - looked like it had been used as an ashtray. Got a good, undisturbed night's sleep and a hot shower the next morning.

Amazing price. Clean room with two bed. Good pressure shower. Cable with many tv channels. Lots of lighting options in the room. Truck parking next door at the trucks stop. Also makes it convenient to walk over and purchase drinks and/or snacks. Beds were quite comfortable. Will mark this place to stop in the future

Check in extremely slow. Not very clean smelled musty .
No hairdryer in room as advertised but they hunted one down. Stayed 2 nights. Did not give new coffee for 2nd morning. Coffee tasted like colored water, but marathon next door has great coffee!! Just folded and rehung wet, used washcloths and towels. Toilet leaked on floor but I forgot to let desk know.. no phone in room so had to walk to desk for anything. No breakfast probably due to covid. We set air at 73 when we left day 1 we got back to a freezing 60 so had to run heat.

Pluses .. thick pillows and very comfortable beds

I require ground floor access but will not go into reasons with a clerk. I got first floor room but the tub, which I really wanted a hot bath, did not work. There was no drain blockage or water coming out of the spigot. The ONLY option was a shower which I managed but it really hurt and did not solve my back issue in any way shape or form. I would think that a rather small room for almost $100 would have a working tub. And the water was only warm, not hot. Definitely not worth the price...and no where decent to eat nearby. Dont bother stopping.

The staff at front desk was very kind and helpful he was kind and considerate when we had worries of possible bugs...he reassured us if we were not happy to let him know and he would make things better however once we seen the room we realised this place is THE BEST YOU CAN GET FOR THE PRICE! very good stay and NO BUGS WHAT SO EVER! inspected the bed spread and underneath and not one speck of anything! Overall good stay! Was very helpful in finding food for us hungry travelers..

Woke up in the middle of the night to gunshots the remote the microwave and mini fridge has been used for years and not cleaned I lost a sock under the bed and found shoes make up nail polish like someone didn't feel the need to pick it up instead kicking it under the bed. I almost got up and slept in my big truck because I thought something had been biting me through out the night. other then that the staff was very nice.

About the only positive experience I had here was with the man who checked us in. He was pleasant and tried to be accommodating. That being said I kick myself for not sucking it up to drive another half hour to a better place. The floor was dirty straws on the floor by the bed. Dirty shower curtain and the rod was falling out of the wall. The towels looked like they had been handled by someone who worked on their car first. The room was very smokey. I will never go back there again and would suggest a visit from the health inspector.

The night manager was very friendly - no problems there. It was 215 am when i drove up, and the guy was very polite. The room was clean and contained the most basic of hotel samples: soap, few towels, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, tv. Decent location near the interstate, and decently not noisy. The only reason i give it 3 stars is because it did need upgrades because it was all very cheap: holes in the fraying carpet, a/c unit that never really seemed to get cold, and not the nicest feeling sheets... among the slew of aesthetic problems the bathroom had. And, it was fine for just $50. That's the thing with reviews, though. Did i have a specific problem with any of those issues? No, i didn't and I'd honestly have no problem having another cheap stay here. But, if i give the place 5 stars, one might get the impression that it's all perfect and zero things wrong with the place. If i judge this hotel against all hotels, it might deserve lower than 3. But judging it against cheap hotels, it might deserve 5. So, I'll settle with 3.
