A really wonderful stay at the Addison Choate! The entire place is outfitted so charmingly and warm! Our room (Wide Berth) had a very comfortable bed and was nicely appointed. As everyone else has written, Marshall is an energetic and gracious host — all communications were clear and timely; we only had a brief chat when we arrived, but we were able to chat more with him during breakfast (which was delicious.) We even got to meet his wife Courtney. It’s clear that they love what they do, and work hard to be very good at it. Highly recommended! À bientôt!

Delightful one night stay in a beautifully appointed inn and bedroom with a luxurious mattress and a bathroom to match. Home away from home. Wonderful host, Marshall. The common areas were so inviting - relaxed in the living room with a bottle of wine and our own music playing over their Bluetooth speaker. Very cozy inn.

Our stay at the Addison Choate Inn was absolutely delightful! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the water, which made it incredibly easy to explore the beautiful coastal area on foot. The staff truly elevated our experience, offering a warm and personalized service. Our room was beautifully appointed and cozy, and the morning breakfast was delicious and fresh. We didn't want to leave!

My boyfriend and I booked a weekend here for an anniversary staycation- it was so lovely!! We stayed in the “Dog Watch” room, which is two floors (including a full kitchen) and it was perfect for having a place to have leftover from dinner for lunch, and lounge during the evenings without having to be in bed. The space was very clean and well decorated. Breakfast was continental-ish and “made to order” via request sheets. Perfect walkable location to downtown. We came during off season (November) so we had no issues with noise, parking, etc. Would absolutely recommend, and stay again!

This hotel was amazing—super cozy, beautifully maintained, and had a warm, welcoming vibe. The rooms were spotless and well-designed, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the location was perfect for exploring Rockport. Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this place is a gem. 5/5 – Would definitely stay again!

Addison Choate is the most lovely boutique hotel on the North Shore in quintessential Rockport, MA! My family and I stayed in Dog’s Watch Suite; we were excited to find the space as it’s not easy to find rooms that sleep 3. Upon arrival, we met Marshall who greeted us warmly and made us feel instantly welcome. He offered us use of an additional room if needed, which was above and beyond. As he helped us with our luggage, he kindly provided some excellent restaurant reservations based on our preferences. I have stayed in a ton of hotels across the world and this level of service is impossible to find. Thank you, Marshall! In the Dog’s Watch Suite, absolutely no detail was overlooked. Our room was perfectly appointed with all the essentials; we felt like we were in a much nicer version of our home! The decor was modern and fun (could have been featured on HGTV), the bed was plush and evoked peaceful dreams, and the bathroom was updated and beautiful (loved the bath products). We even found some candies left for us, which was a great touch. Downstairs, we had a patio with hanging chairs, a perfectly appointed kitchen, and a lovely sitting area adorned with artwork. This theme continued throughout the charming property- and made exploring so much fun. Breakfast was perfect, and the croissants were so good we felt like we were transported to Paris before exploring downtown Rockport. I cannot recommend Addison Choate enough; the location, the gorgeous, spotless rooms, the breakfast, and the unparalleled service will leave you wanting for nothing- except a return trip. Marshall, thanks for your tireless efforts to make our trip so special! Can’t wait for our next visit.
