AC Hotel by Marriott Sunnyvale Moffett Park - Sunnyvale, California

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during a business trip. The main reason I chose the hotel was the Marriott Bonvoy program and the hotel being very modern and new compared to other options around the area.

Overall, it was an excellent stay. The hotel was very modern and quite clean. It was a brand new building and you could feel it at every corner of the hotel. I will definitely visit this hotel when I travel to the area again.

Here are some details on the specifics:

Welcome: The receptionist was very friendly on my arrival and I was checked in very quickly with no wait. The hotel has a car park which you get access from the reception after check-in. Overall, everything seemed nicely planned and it was a great experience.

The hotel: The hotel is brand new and the building the quite white and spacey. The space is quite large and ceilings are so high that it feels like your voice echos in the hotel. It feels clean all over. The hotel offers a small gym and pool shared together with the joining hotel. I would prefer a larger gym but it is not a big deal breaker since it was well equipped.

Restaurant: I didn’t use the restaurants or have breakfast. However, there is no specific room for breakfasts and I could see people having their breakfasts in the lobby. While I didn’t check the food, it felt a bit weird to look at people eating in the large lobby.

Location: The hotel area feels safe and it is quite easy to join the highways in your car. The hotel has a separate car park building which you get access during check-in. It was 15$ a night which is reasonably priced (compared to other Marriott Santa Clara hotel in the area), however, I don’t understand why these hotels with lots of car park space has to charge for parking. If there was an equivalent hotel with free car park, it would be a deal breaker for me.

Overall: It was a comfortable stay in a nice safe location. I loved how fresh and modern the hotel building was. The gym and the pool was a bit small but I would prefer the large rooms of this hotel rather than a larger gym any day. I truly will consider visiting this hotel again.

Perfectly situated for work trips to Google's Sunnyvale campus, the AC Hotel at Moffett Place is a quick 12-minute walk away. This new hotel boasts a clean, comfortable atmosphere with decent amenities, striking a balance between value and upscale accommodations. While not overly luxurious, it provides everything you need for a pleasant stay. The breakfast is available for a fee, and the adjacent bar and restaurant offer convenient dining options. The bathroom is well-appointed with quality fixtures, though the decor leans towards practicality with LVP flooring and minimal woodwork. If you prioritize value and convenience, the AC Hotel is an excellent choice for your Sunnyvale visit.

It’s simply a great choice when visiting Sunnyvale. Quiet, new, modern, very clean and great customer service. Staff are helpful. Mountain view is nice.
Only complain is the fridge noise if we were able to switch it off during sleep hours that would be perfect..

Nice, modern hotel, with comfortable rooms. It is located close to Google office in Moffett park. No restaurant nearby - that’s probably the only drawback. But there are options within driving distance ||The room itself was well furnished with low set beds. ||Breakfast at the hotel looked average- didn’t try it. They have a small shop for essentials - snacks and the like. ||Parking is paid and shared with the sister property next door.||Staff was polite and responsive to queries.

We stay here often and love it! The rooms are big, the beds are comfortable, the TVs are huge, the showers are large and have rainfall spouts in the ceilings as well as hose extentions, the pool and surrounding areas are beautiful, the food and beverages are excellent, and the gym is adequate and has pool views.
I look forward to returning. 💜

This was my first time at the hotel, but I was very happy with it. Clean and spacious rooms, and comfortable beds.

I had a spill in my luggage and the cleaners managed to get all the stains out of my clothes.

My main complaint is the poor room door design. The doors don't seal on the bottom and all the noise from the hallways comes right in. That in combination with the door latches being extremely loud, makes it hard to sleep until all the neighbors have come to their rooms.

I had the opportunity to spend a night here while in town on business. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, bright and welcoming! The beds & furniture are comfortable but sit very low. Much what you would expect for a young child. For an older adult they are very difficult to get up from. Parking is very expensive at $22 plus tax per night.

Cons:
1. No free breakfast for Marriott members. The continental breakfast charges $23.
2. No free parking.
3. The hotel is pet-friendly, but not soundproof. There was on dog close to my room for one night, and the noise was so loud that I couldn’t fall asleep.
