Boy oh boy do I have a story to tell! If I could give this place 0-0 Stars I would! The only positive thing that I can say about this motel according to my husband they have smoking rooms oh joy! Open the door and got hit in the face with a 67-year-old cigarette smoking room that literally smelled like it was from the 60s. I was absolutely appalled and definitely under enthused and unimpressed is an understatement! Location location location location location location somebody needs to tell these people how about fabuloso, bleach,mold killer, spackle and roof repair. The windows are filthy, the floors are filthy the walls are filthy ? baseboards probably haven't been cleaned in a few years please see my photos because you will see that I am not exaggerating! There are no other guests here and I can understand why because we were told one price on the phone and when my husband drove 45 mi into show low the price magically jumped I'm so mad at him I wish we would just had stayed in the car! I am totally serious here I've checked the bed for bed bugs with my phone I'm scared please look at my photos. ?

im being generous giving this place a one star. my girlfriend called and complained about the room having a hole in the wall, she didnt remember what room we were in either because her memory isnt THAT great. The girl picking up the line was very rude and hung up after my girlfriend said she didnt know what room number we were in. I think thats very cruel. When we called again, the person on the line picked up but when we said the simple words "Hello" we got no response. We continued to say "Hello" and ultimately got hung up on. We tried calling multiple times after and got no response. We are SO disappointed on this poor customer service, if someone's attitude changed that would be amazing.

I asked for a non smoking and got a smoking. The floors were dirty and the flooring was starting to come up. Out dated refrigerator, no coffee pot, the bathroom was very poorly lit. I went to take a shower and it didn't work. Sink had Luke warm water at best for my wash cloth shower. His suggestion when I brought up the shower during check out was I could use another room for the shower. I explained I had appointments and didn't have time. No phone in the room to call the desk. His compensation was a $15 refund. The night light was in pieces in the nightstand drawer next to the bed.. I guess if I wanted a reading light I would need to reassemble the light .lol. at least the bed was some what comfy.

The location was a good spot. Right near downtown. Tons of food places. ETC.

We got to the inn for check in and it was a simple process. 2pm check in.

We took our keys and went to our room and were given another room afterward.
Because we checked the bed to make sure all was well. There was hair all over the pillows. As well as dirt of some kind on the pillows and bed.
The 2nd room was better. But the floor was dirty throughout the room. And right after we walked in we had to kill a cockroach.

-The water was hot while taking a shower. Curtain in bathroom was not there though.
-As well as when hands needed to be washed; There was a small bar of soap.
-The bed was comfortable for the night. Slept well.
-A/C unit worked great. Room was nice and cold all night.
-Fridge in the room worked. Not sure about the coffee maker or microwave though.

Check out was at 11am that morning. But the owner came by around 8:30am knocking on our door to see if we were checking out. Cannot say that was appreciated but oh well.

Overall not a terrible stay but we will more than likely not be staying here again.

Absolutely disgusting. Everything was booked in Showlow. The room reeked of urine and other unknown substances. The sheets had hair in them so I doubt they change them in between guests. Stains everywhere. Appliances were out of date and did not work. The shower only ran hot water. Bugs everywhere. Sketchy people and noisy.

When I first arrived and checked into my room, I realized how small it was for two people-but it would have worked for the purpose of staying there to sleep while I was working out of town. However my issues came about when the manager knocked on the door to my room asking if he could look at the mini fridge. He saw beer that I was drinking and asked if I could go get him some shooters, while he was on the clock working. I of course told him no and then he asked if he can have my beer. I told him no he needed to leave. He proceeded to come back half an hour later saying he had money for me so he can have beer. I told him no he needed to leave me alone and made him leave. My wife then called to ask for a refund where he was rude and yelling at her that I was there too long for a refund. My stay was 4 nights and I had only been checked in for 3 hours. After she kept demanding a refund he once again came and knocked on my door with an attitude and said you come get a refund now. As I was leaving, he saw that my uncle was picking up my brother and I. He went and knocked on his truck window and told him to cancel his reservation at the amazing Motel 6 and that he would put him in a room next to us. The management is rude and I didn't like the fact that he was willing to walk in my room with his key without knocking. I am going back to Show Low next week and will not be staying here ever again.

Office staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was not overly large, but perfect for a one-night sleep stay. Bed was comfortable, pillows were a little smooshed, but I learned a long time ago to bring my own pillows. A/C was *super cold*, it was excellent after a hot drive! Water in the sink and shower were hot and good volume. Towels were not super fluffy, but I've learned not to expect that. NO bugs, that's a big plus for me! I wondered, since I hadn't seen any comments about bugs in other reviews. My room was non-smoking, and had no smoke odors. Oh, and the hum of the A/C overnight provided just enough white noise to drown out any incidental noise from neighboring rooms and the traffic outside. I didn't notice any of the things that others had complained about in their reviews. I would stay here again!
