Absolutely love the uniqueness of this small quaint motel. If you're experiencing the real route 66 travel, this is a must stay. The biggest POSITIVE of this place, ABSOLUTELY NO BED BUGS! Home 2 Suites, Holiday Inn, Hamptons, etc... All had BED BUGS. Somehow Victor & Mary have kept their beautiful motel above the rest.

Una tappa per passare la notte dopo un lungo viaggio sulla 66 route.
Un motel senza grandi pretese ma con un suo perché. Apprezzato per il giusto contesto folcloristico, l'accoglienza nonostante l'ora tarda, la pulizia e i servizi compresi nella camera, frigo, aria condizionata e asciugamani puliti(dettaglio non scontato tra i motel), il tutto per pochi dollari.

Broke down outside Barstow and stayed here while my vehicle was across the street getting repaired. Torches was just what I needed, and Victor was a real sweet guy. It’s very affordable lodging so don’t expect more than the bare minimum in terms of amenities, but the customer service was above and beyond.

The rooms are small and cozy and have reasonable attendant, overall I would recommend it. If and when I come back to town I'm going to try and stay here again...

The owner of route 66 own this one and rent out as over flow. If they dont have room at the 66. Great people,nice and quite very helpful on local places.
