Juan, the concierge, deserves special recognition for making our stay extraordinary. His attentive service and genuine care for guests truly enhanced our experience. The thoughtful touches throughout our stay were memorable – the complimentary wine and cheese service was a lovely way to unwind each evening, and having breakfast delivered to our room every morning made us feel pampered and special.

The hotel is adorable. We love that it is small and boutique. The rooms were beautiful and very well equipped. We rode our wave runners from Dana Point over, so obviously, what we could bring with us was limited. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The afternoon hors d'oeuvres were perfect. They were served to our rooms so we could enjoy them in private. The morning breakfast was also fantastic. Freshly baked pumpkin bread, coffee, fresh fruit. The level of service here is what we were used to for many years but has fallen very short in other stays over the years. You get the feeling they care about both your stay and your business. We will book again next year.

This hotel was a splurge for us and well worth it. The day before we were in a Hilton hotel that paled in comparison. The Snug Harbor staff are attentive, the continental breakfast was elegant as was the afternoon happy hour. The rooms are clean, in good working order, and stocked with many comfort items and quality shower staples. There are electronic convenience items travelers will appreciate. The fireplace in our room was part of what made our room so charming. There is a comfortable central guest area stocked with quality tea and coffee via a K-Cup brewer. This stay is among the best rooms these frequent travelers have stayed in.

San Clemente room's view was great. Decorated nicely, comfortable, smaller bathroom but worked out fine. Presentation of breakfast and wine/appetizers each day was wonderful. You get what they bring you vs. an array of choices, but the variety is good and we liked everything. Juan worked the entire time we were there (2 nights/3 days). He provided exceptional service, he seemed to do everything at the inn! He made our stay stand out, which is a lot for us since we travel often. Keep in mind is there is a long set of stairs up to get to all the rooms, but there is luggage help if you need it.

This romantic, charming inn is in the heart of Avalon and a short walk to everything there - shopping and restaurants. The inn is an easy twn minute walk from the ferry dock.||The staff are attentive, the room is clean, and charming with a luxurious fee. We loved the fireplace and electronics frlor entertainment and convenience like charging. The breakfast and happy hour are both elegant and feel upscale. It exceeded our expectations. ||There is a central guest area with seating, a TV, fireplace and self service refreshments like tea and coffee. There is also an ice machine. ||This inn is a good value for all of the above reasons.I would not hesitate to stay here again if visiting Catalina Island. Use the inn's website photos to choose your room with confidence that is how the room actually looks.

My husband & I celebrated our anniversary here— we’re both native Californians but had never been to Catalina Island. We wanted a room with a view, so we chose the Snug Harbor Inn for its location & high ratings. Right off the main pedestrian path, the Snug is close to everything in Avalon…restaurants, bars, beaches, Vons, hiking trails & the pier. The inn is lovely, filled with photos of Avalon back in the day & also has a small lounge with coffee & tea which was convenient. But the star of the show was our room which had a full view of the ocean & a beautiful sunrise each morning! Our room was fully equipped with a comfortable king size bed, a fireplace, a jacuzzi tub & a table for 2 in front of 3 huge windows looking over the promenade, beach & ocean- it was perfect! Each morning the staff brought us breakfast & coffee, & each evening they brought us wine & snacks. On arrival they had a chilled bottle of champagne & a anniversary card for us, which we so appreciated. The staff was amazing & full of info (special shout out to Juan!) We had a wonderful time & highly recommend!

First class service and a comfy bed. Our room had a gas fireplace, which was nice since November evenings are a bit cooler. Our room had an amazing view of the harbor. The wine and hors d'oeuvres was a nice way to start our evening. The hotel had a warm character and attention to detail.
