I lived here for 3 months back in early summer, and I have to say it was a great stay for me while I was transitioning into my apartment. The management is great (Brandon) is an awesome person and will go out of his way to help you! The Indian guy that was sometimes at the desk always had a smile on his face. I felt so at home at River Valley that I really hated to leave. The neighbors were always so nice and courteous and they opened the pool while I was there which made a nice place even better. The bed was comfy and it was literally the only "monthly" studio rental that I have ever stayed at where everyone pretty much minds their own business. In 3 months I never had one complaint about this establishment. They come in once every two weeks to spray and make sure they keep the bugs away, and on everything good and holy I never seen not one single bug the whole time I was there. In all honesty if I hadn't have already been in the leasing process of getting my apartment I would have loved to make River Valley Inn my permanent home! They have nice size full refrigerators and it's just a great atmosphere. If I am ever in a relocating situation again this will be the place that I go back too! Kudos to the management at River Valley Inn ,❣️ keep up the good work you're doing an amazing job and I hope to see y'all again!

not happy. came here for my fiances birthday just to get out of our little town... didn't go well.

100 deposit in cash, and they get to keep it plus charge 50 extra if they spot any slight thing wrong.

The beds and floors were filthy, there are roaches literally every. pretty ticked off about putting my food in the fridge when i have to pick out the roaches. The blankets and sheets had stains all over them, and so did the lamp shades? and the floors dirtied my feet as soon as I stepped out of the shower....so that shower went to waste.

had to pay to use the pool here, pool was kinda sad ngl. not much to offer. and the staff was rude, quick to get us out of their way.

not really pleased, but I really expected it when we pulled in. 3 random poles where we need to drive, we almost hit them since there's not a lot of room to go around...so be careful big trucks!

this was not a good place to stay.. don't recommend.

Horrible service

The hotel room was filthy and charged extra for the pool.

Made me pay for a stained wash rag that I had to use to clean the bottom of my feet from walking around on the nasty hotel room floor.

Says no pets but the owners have two pit mixes running around the entire property and in the pool area

This place was horrible. We got my Dad a room here for a month and the room was disgusting. There was a king mattress and it was brown and had no mattress cover on it and there were roaches all over the room. He cleaned up the room himself and everything to make it feel more comfortable. We gave this place $800 plus a 150 deposit for 31 days and when we went to go check out we were denied our deposit back due to no mattress cover being on the bed and no smoke detector in the room. Mind you there was no smoke detector or mattress cover when we rented this room and we told them about it and they said it was fine. The guy at the front desk upon check out was acting really weird about it and his hands were shaking and his voice was cracking as he was talking to me. They called the cops on many other people at the hotel when he was here due to drugs but saw workers going in and out of these rooms on a daily basis. This place shouldn’t even be open anymore. I do not recommend coming here at all. My dad would have left the first day but they refused his refund. Customer service was awful and people here were super rude. Cheap rooms with a 150 deposit isn’t that cheap anyways. You’re better off going to a hotel 6.

Leaving one star is being generous and mandatory, or this dive of a hotel would not even get that rating.

I spent 1 year there, off and on. The last time I was there, I was disgusted by the bed bug bites I was afflicted by and have the bump marks to prove it.

Then, they moved me to another room after I received several more bed bug bites; but only after I complained twice.

To add insult to injury, when I went to get my deposit they said there was a stain on the comforter; that they never showed me.

For the stain, they never produced they fraudulently took 95 dollars of my 150 deposit.
I spent 1000's of dollars here and to be treated like this is deplorable.
I feel like they owe me for the bed bug bites I have turned them into the better business bureau.

We booked online, upon arrival they tell us they do not take reservations online or over the phone and that I would be refunded my original fee. This is a cheap motel and you get what you pay for. Check in was a long process and checking out was even longer. They tried to take my $100 deposit and accused us of stealing a .25c wash rag. We have to physically go in the room with the check out clerk and count the towels for him. He missed one that was in the shower but the fact that they accused us of stealing something so minor and were going to take $100 deposit for it was absolutely ridiculous. There are bugs but I killed it too quickly to identify it. Just spend a little extra money and stay somewhere nicer.
