Terrible service, was very rude. We were trying to explain one of our pet went missing and they threaten to call the cops on my husband. We were trying to explain as calmly as possible that we were hoping if there was a chance they can look into seeing if they clean up, to see if our pet snake was there or not.
We came to the area cause there was a fire where we live up north near eaton fire, but these people were so rude and messed up.
The room was also horrible which I get it's a motel, but for 88 bucks spent with sheets fill with cigarette holes along with mattress and terrible management, this place deserve 1 star. Find somewhere else to be.

Terrible hotel. And I stayed in the Studio 6 portion which is more expensive than the Motel 6 rooms. Dirty room and dirty hall . Trash in bags and wastebaskets by the elevator in plain sight. And here is the best part: the house phone in my room is dead and the drain in my tub is blocked up. So I called the front desk from my cell at 8:30 AM to inform management of these two problems and I was already out of the room to work so they could send a plumber or handyman to correct these 2 problems. The receptionist told me the handyman would be at work at 9:30 AM and she would send him “right up” at 9:30 AM. Well…..I just returned to my room at 10:30 PM and no one had come in to my room to fix the two problems. So I put on a rubber glove and with two Q-tips, I first dug out a large amount of dirty hair and scum out of the drain. I then used the palm of my hand as a plunger over the tub drain and finally got it to open up and drain better, so I can take a QUICK shower in the morning.
I have stayed in Studio 6 locations which were just the opposite of this terrible place. Read ALL of the reviews on a place, not just the good ones, before you pay for a room. Stay away from this Artesia, CA Studio/Motel 6 location. Management is not proud of their hotel as it certainly does not show it. I am so sad this is a dump compared to other Studio 6 location which were great.

There were cockroaches in my room, the housekeepers don't knock on your door to see if you need towels or anything else and the staff isn't very friendly either! Typical Motel 666 atmosphere, Tom Budet sold out to the indians, obviously!

The hotel was nice but the staff did not care and our bed sheets were dirty. The phone in the room was broken so I called them on my phone but they hung up so I walked to the front desk and he just handed me a blanket.

The staff was nice, but the room itself was extremely unpleasant and dirty. There was dirt all over the floors in the room, and it looked as if it hadn't been swept or mopped in weeks. Not only was the first room extremely unpleasant and dirty. It was not the room that I reserved. I reserved a King Size Suite and was initially given a queen size room. I spoke with the front desk and was initially informed that they didn't have any king-size rooms available. This was appalling due to the fact that I reserved a king-size bed through the website. After a few minutes, the front desk said he would check and for me to wait by my room. We then went to another room, which was a king-size bed, but again, not the suit I reserved. I asked him about the room I reserved, and he said it wasn't available. That was unfortunate and totally put a dent in my entire stay since the suite was the only reason I traveled so far to this location and paid the price compared to a regular room for $89. The next room was just as dirty as the first. The ceiling had a huge black mold stain that should really be fixed immediately. The shower was full of dirt and soap scum and the mirror had toothpaste on it . Out of all the locations I stayed at, this was the worst, and never again will I stay in this location.

I can’t relate to the other reviews here because my stay here was excellent. I was welcomed with a smile from Sam at the front desk. He showed me to my room on the 3rd floor. This floor was being refurbished and it was beautiful. My room was clean, modern and comfortable. My room had a flat screen with roku, a full size fridge and a brand new waterfall shower. The ONLY thing I would change was the fact that there was no mirror in the bathroom, but in reality, that’s minor. The property was clean and not filled with weirdos. Do to the kindness of staff and comfortability of the property, I would definitely stay here again!

Always enjoyed this property. The studio rooms are very spacious and nice Hisense televisions. The manager Leo is also great. For the rate you can't beat it

Leo made sure we were happy and satisfied during our stay. Housekeeping and front desk are always good to us.
