TRAIN NEARBY!! I don't know how many actually passed (at least 2) but each one, I heard the horn from 3 different locations and sound levels...so 6 alarms while trying to sleep! And this MOTEL (not hotel) is NOT worth what they charge a night! I've stayed at nicer and cheaper Super 8s. We stayed here during our trip home and had a dog which is why we picked it. Extremely dated but the bed was decent enough. The room stunk of dirty dog! If I have to pay extra to have my dog here it should be because of extra cleaning done after a dog. The ac worked well though. Even though there was a problem with our reservation, the clerk was friendly, helpful and apologetic. I won't be back.

I can say that the gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant.
The rest was ewwww. I walked in my room and had a very overwhelming smell of pinesol that lasted all night. But what did they clean? I personally spent the first hour cleaning dead bugs off the windowsill and corners of the bathroom. The corners of the room were black with years of uncleaned filth. I mistakenly walked along the floor in barefoot and my feet were black.

Now as to breakfast, they put out frozen waffles and they thawed out and were spongy. I just couldn't eat there because that room also needed to be cleaned .

With some elbow grease and attention to details such as don't leave extra wires hanging down for the tv and actually placing the mirror where you can use it and making sure the light bulbs don't blink on and off, this could be ok.

Cleanliness should be first and foremost in a hotel.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Room not as reserved, charged $10 extra to fix, Non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray. Cigarette buts had been dumped in the toilet and not flushed because th flush handle didn't work .Mgmt recommended we go somewhere else when notified.

Lobby was very dirty, room was very dirty with holes in the walls, ceiling falling in over the door, refrigerator didn't work and was wet, dirty and stinky, carpet was filthy. Didn't feel safe with lighting in the parking lot and a special night check in.

Let me first say that I did not end up staying here. I had a room booked at another hotel, when I arrived they only had a room on the 3rd floor and no elevator. I called this Days Inn location, and a male answered the phone. I asked him if he had any rooms available on the first floor, and he asked for who. I paused because that's a weird question. Do you have a room available on the first floor, I asked again. He said yes, $125; I had already checked online for hotel availability, and in my app, the price is $88. I just needed to know if the room was on the first floor because I am a disabled veteran. I said thank you, I will book online. He told me no, I don't have a room, if you book online I don't have a room for you. I am here for work, have an apartment but am waiting for furniture to be delivered, and have a physical impairment, but his mentality made me decide that if I had to crawl up the stairs and roll down I'd rather the 3rd floor than staying like place like this. Hope he knows there can be consequences for price gouging for someone requesting accommodation for a disability.

Dayinn is good please to stay night good. Staff members that work at the hotel and the bosses are very good people to work with thank you have a blessed come stay at the Days inn when you're passing through all the truck drivers when y'all get tired go stay at the Days inn how to see your people soon
