My husband and I were just passing through and needed a spot to park our truck camper for the night. This place is AMAZING! If I could give it 10 stars I would. I saw security driving around and the staff is extremely friendly. The bathrooms and were very clean and I noticed they were being cleaned regularly. Very pet friendly with poop bag stations scattered around the whole place. It has a great fenced dog area as well as an off leash area. The laundry is coin operated and you can exchange cash for quarters in the office. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Thank you for making our short stay one to remember.

Lavaland Hawaii

This is a really great place. The people who work there are just amazing, they go above and beyond what anyone would expect. They have a fantastic common area by the river, including an area for dogs. They are about the most dog friendly business anywhere. The laundry and other facilities they have are spotless clean, and they also have security patrol. If you are a responsible pet owner or a not pet owner, I don't think you will find a more welcoming place. I'd give more than 5 stars if it were an option. I will stay there again!

The campsite was nice, clean, and the sites were large. Ours backed up to the Verde River which is the last river in AZ that runs year-round. Mandy at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. The location is off the 89A, and the traffic noise was minimal from our site (38). Each site has a fire ring and bench. Easy to back in and maneuver. Would stay here again. Close to Sedona and 4 minutes from Cottonwood gas, stores, and food.

The BEST Rv park experience I’ve had. Mandy, the manager, is the kindest most hospitable person. Everyone that works there is so kind and hard working. It’s the cleanest park, cleaner than most motels I’ve been to. Showers and bathrooms and laundry room were all immaculate.

The spacing is nice; not too tight like other parks. The water, electrical and sewage hookups all were in great shape. Wifi worked great as well.

The River front spaces are worth the extra $ as it was so nice to take a walk with my dog every day (multiple times a day) along the paths that were well maintained. There’s a huge off leash dog area by the river where I was able to meditate peacefully.

What a GEM of a place in cottonwood. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful space with me.

We camped there in an RV actually 2 RVs with my son and his family. Sites had full hook ups and lots of space. Staff was super friendly. Would definitely stay again. We took advantage of the hiking trails with great views.

This was our first trip with our new camper and it was a smooth one, thanks to the excellent customer service we received from Rio Verde RV Park. They called us the day before to give us check in and park info directions since we were going to arrive on a holiday. Our spot was clean and everything worked with easy hookups. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well taken care of. We will definitely return when we are in the neighborhood again!

We had a great week stay at Rio Verde RV Park. We chose the back area along the Verde River. This area has Large lots, a great fire pit and lots of views. It was quiet and just so relaxing. It was convenient and close to all the stores you may need. Close to Old Cottonwood, Jerome, Sedona. The bathrooms are large and clean- great showers (even impressed my husband and 17 year old son). Would definitely stay here again.
