I Have lived here for 3 Months and its a very nice place !
#1 The management Is great Lou & Carla - Do a Great job at runny this
Facility and they care about the people who live here and there are times that they need to go above and beyond ! I forgot to add the Managers live there and are available 24-7
#2 The staff Here Is The Best that Have seen Bar None They love there jobs and the people they work for,
They always happy to help the residents when asked .
#3 The Apt. are quite nice My Studio is big and has back door to a small patio and yard. (please note down stairs only) up stairs are all Patios.
#4 (This is my opinion ONLY! )The food is very good for an institutional menu (However to there is room for improvement)
#5 They have transportation For Medical appts. also shopping at local stores- and filled trips
#6 they have a swimming pool-pool table-rec-room with TV's and actives

So in closing It's a very place to stay you can't go wrong with Desert Springs Retirement living in Oro Valley AZ.

Desert Springs was a wonderful first step for my aging mother-in-law. It provided safety and peace of mind for her as well as her daughter and myself. A very nice senior Independent Living facility. The staff and especially the manager were so very pleasant and friendly. It is what you hope for for your parents as they need a place to call home. We only wish that they also had some Assisted Living arrangements to move into.

This is a friendly, helpful community that is a size I can handle-not too large and not too small. The interior surroundings are bright and cheerful, and the employees are kind and patient. There are numerous, varied activities that appeal to the varied personalities of the residents. It can also be very peaceful and quiet when necessary. I spent 2 months at another facility which I chose mainly because it was more reasonably priced. I was not happy there and asked to speak to their manager about my reasons. She was not available for two weeks and by then I had heard from Desert Springs inviting me to lunch which I accepted. I moved in one month later and am very happy.

I recently flew down from Alaska to visit my sister and brother-in-law at Desert Springs.
What a wonderful experience! I spent 3 nights in the guest suite and ate my meals in the dining room. This place has gourmet cuisine! The service staff was amazing! Everyone treated me like I was a member of the family! I am so happy that Edrye and Tom are living in this perfect home at this crucial time in their lives.

My mother has been living at Desert Springs for several years and we fly down a couple times a year to spend a few days with her. We stay in the guest apartment and all of the meals are included.
The facility is always clean, the food is wonderful and there are multiple daily activities to keep the residents engaged and entertained.
The staff is warm, friendly and engaged. From the managers down they all seem to be genuinely concerned about the well being of the residents and their guests.

Excellent community. The managers and staff know everyone’s name and preferences, and treat everyone kindly. The residents are exceptionally kind and thoughtful, looking after each other. The food was excellent as well, with many choices. I stayed in the model apartment for a week while visiting my Mom. It is the perfect place for my Mom.

Desert Springs is my residence since October, 2021. Before I came here I
Looked into about 5 different places and without any hesitation I moved here for many different factors.: Wonderful location, Cleanliness of the place, good food and service and also friendliness of all the staff.

Our new Managers Randy and Mary Moore and Assistant Managers Sarah and Amanda Fairfield are a wonderful asset to our place as they always have a helping hand to all the residents.

This is a great place to live in when you are forced due to health problems to gave up your home.

I was driven here right from the hospital..I thought I was going back to the casita on my daughter’s property.. I was so angry and scared.. had lunch which I could barely eat and then my daughter took me to my room.. both my cats Tom and Jerry were there..pictures on the wall.. furniture and pictures of my family everywhere…Then best of all Randy our manager came to my room and talked to me and my daughter for over an hour ..I knew then this was the most caring place and that my daughter had done the most research and chosen Desert Springs which I will be eternally grateful to her..
All my meals.. food is wonderful.. our rooms are cleaned once a week and I don’t even have to make my bed as fresh sheets and towels are provided.. Randy and Mary are the most dedicated managers and show us every day how much they care for each and everyone of us.
I have met wonderful residents and I love to help when I can and I love to tease and laugh with all..Thank you to all the staff for just caring and being so gracious .
