This was a fiasco from the word go! I had asked specifically for room that was suitable for my severely disabled mother. On arrival we were greeted by two full flights of stairs, mom was not able to even manage the first flight. I entered the room which was very basic, nothing like the photos we had visited prior to booking. ||When I called the guest house to book the room and discuss my mothers needs, I was assured that the room would be suitable with only a few stairs to navigate. We were faced with 22! Due to my mother’s significant health needs (she is in palliative care) we decided to seek alternative accommodation as this was our last holiday. ||We found alternative accommodation and tried to discuss these difficulties with the staff at the Florence Guest House, including via email. The guest house still took full payment and when I called again to discuss this, the attitude of the manager was disgusting, with him actually laughing at our situation. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone based on the complete lack of care and consideration shown to myself and my mother who is at end of life.

Don't judge a book by it's cover is the perfect quote for Florence Guest House. The outside is in need of some TLC but once inside everything was perfect exactly like the photo. Only thing I should have asked about was which floor we were on, all elderly and were on the top floor but we managed. Excellent |communication from owner.

Our room was fresh and clean. My Granddaughter and I were made so welcome. Breakfast was delicious and I had the full vegetarian option. Sharon is a sweet friendly accommodating lady. We Will definitely be staying again!

My wife and I had a two night break at the Florence. We had stayed at the Florence 3 years ago and it was every bit as good this weekend as it had been previously. We will definitely return again. Peter and Sharon are very friendly and accommodating hosts. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were great and it is conveniently located for the beach and town. It is everything we want in a B and B.

Again another wonderful time spent - staying from Wednesday 23rd - Sunday 27th May, and as always our regular place to stay. All of us enjoy our stay and both Sharon & Peter, make these visits somewhere special, nothing is too much trouble.||It's so nice to enjoy freshly cooked breakfast's with good quality produce, cooked to perfection, a wide choice, is always available. Fresh fruit salad, yogurts, and cereals.||Rooms are always "spotlessly clean", and beds very comfortable, we always get a good nights sleep!!! Its such a convenient place to stay, a nice walk into the town, and very near the seafront, a good range of restaurants nearby for lunch/dinner.||Thank you once again, look forward to our next visit August/September.||Daniel, Norman & Keith

Stayed here last week for 2 nights and was very impressed. Room was great and very clean. Great location to Weston centre and is also quiet late at night as it's tucked away off the main drag of Weston itself. Free parking outside the property itself would have been the icing on the cake but it's wasn't a major problem for us as there's a pay and display car park at rear of the property for £6:00 for 24hrs. There is also free street parking at streets nearby as another guest advised me on the day we checked out. Would have opted for that option if we'd known or thought about it at the time. Great touch on arrival with a bottle of prosecco and chocolates! Stayed under a ROOM ONLY stay so didn't have breakfast, but I heard off another guest staying there it was great.

This is an excellent guest house situated only a few minutes walk to the seafront and bars and restaurants. There is a car park situated just around the corner at the back of the hotel less than a 5 minute walk. The cost is £6 for 24 hours. If you are disabled and have a blue badge you can park opposite the guest house during your stay free of charge. The guest house is lovely to stay in with all rooms en-suite. The host is very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. We did not have breakfast as unfortunately it was not an option during our stay so cannot comment on it. If staying in weston super mare it is definitely a place I can recommend to stay.

As usual we were made to feel very welcome by Sharon & Peter, staying for 3 nights, Friday 14th September - Monday 17th September. Great accommodation, every comfort, and wonderful breakfast cooked by Peter. ||As before this is a our regular "home" when we visit Weston, and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.||Looking forward to our next visit- hopefully at the beginning of 2019.||Thank you again - Keith & Norman
