We PCS here in June. We are a family of four living on base. For the life of me I can't understand why the stars aren't better for luke homes. Our house had brand new carpet, was extremely clean, and the housing office has been nothing but supportive and helpful. I suppose old base housing has its own issues but I can't speak on that. I can speak on main base newer housing though and I've had zero complaints. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There is plenty of areas for the kiddos to play. We have an attached house and it's virtually sound proof. The size of the house and the storage is amazing. Thanks Luke homes!!

DON’T MOVE HERE. You pay SO much for a low-quality home. Everything breaks very easily. My closet door broke 6 times in the first month I lived here. I gave up and took the doors off myself. Every appliance in my kitchen has something wrong with it. I had roaches, then ants, and gophers tearing up the dirt in my backyard and leaving holes everywhere.
On top of all that, I am paying $2100 / month as a single airman living alone. I am living paycheck to paycheck to pay rent for a house that literally has the past owners’ hairs painted into the bathroom walls. And there’s even mold caulked all around the bathtub, too. It’s a hazard to live here. Especially for families with children. They can’t make our homes safer but of course they can afford doggie pool days in the summer and bingo nights, scavenger hunts, etc. Some people in the office are rude to tenants on the phone or in person. One of the nicest people in the office is Josette.

They don’t live up to their name of Luke “FAMILY” Homes given all the health hazards.

The house was nice and maintenance was very good. The reason for one star is that they charged us for shower curtain rods that we took when we moved out. When we moved into the home there were no shower curtain rods, so we bought two from Walmart for $9.96. When we moved out they stated there were shower curtain rods when we moved in. They showed me old pictures of the home with shower curtain rods in, to prove they were there. Even with receipt proof from Walmart+ and our own pictures they charged a ridiculous $25 per shower curtain rod($50 total). Move in date was Feb12.

A few weeks ago, our dishwasher broke down, but the maintenance team in our community was incredibly quick to respond. We’re truly grateful for the fast and efficient service they provide to the residents here. A huge shoutout to Pablo, who patiently and skillfully repaired our dishwasher, as well as to the other maintenance staff who came by to assess the situation. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication to ensuring everything runs smoothly do not go unnoticed. We’re lucky to have such an amazing team supporting our community!

If you are trying to decide whether to live on base or not, this should help your decision. Within a week of moving in our dishwasher broke, there were signs of mold and decay. You have to buy your own washer and dryer, which is inconvenient as you know military members come and go a lot. The wall in my laundry room is rotten and there are bugs crawling all over it ! There are no door seals, so bugs come in as they please (I have to make sure the lights are all off by dark to prevent them from coming in), I find at least 3 cockroaches a week if not more! My sliding glass door is broken and has been broken since we got here. All of my sinks leak… and that’s just just to name a few ! The staff is very unfriendly, I put in a work order for our AC and we entered that we must be present because we have animals that could get out, my husband came home to them in our house without our consent (there were more experiences like that, but that’s one).

I wish there could be a no star option because this housing community doesn’t deserve 1 star.

Please housing market crash! This is hell on earth living here. The office is so rude and haven’t returned a phone call yet!! If your an officer you can do whatever you want park your trailer in the streets for weeks. Heck park your RV in the lawn next to your house. Housing selectively enforced the rules. The new guide lines they just released tell you that you have to get permission to have a guest over 14 days stay at your house! How is BB even legal to tell me who can and can’t stay at a home I rent? The gov needs to really look into these people!

Terrible DO NOT LIVE HERE. They harass you like crazy about . Appliances brake once a week. Stove - oven wouldn't work. Dishwasher constantly won't wash right and get dishes clean now the dishwasher won't drain the rinse aid. The ice maker wouldn't work then they got it working then is didn't make ice cubes and I have water all frozen over my freezer food. The toilet, sink, bath tub is always clogged. I just ended up buying a snake because it clogs so much I just don't have time to wait. BTW we don't have kids its just my wife and I. If you have anything over 4 hr in your car port other then cars they are on you about that. They have given us notices about having are trash cans on the curb to long, notices you can't have your bulk trash out until that day or they will give you a notice
