We just had a wonderful stay at Rachel’s lovely apartment in Kodiak. We were in the upper unit and the view is spectacular. The unit is absolutely spotless and so comfortable. The kitchen is as well equipped as my home kitchen. And Rachel is a perfect host......kind, efficient, knowledgeable, considerate and a delicious quiche maker. We truly couldn’t believe the breakfast items she provided. I can’t imagine there is any nicer place to stay in Kodiak......and the location is great.

I stayed here 4 nights in the lower unit. Rachel is a warm, knowledgeable hostess who goes out of the way to accommodate. The unit was spotless and so comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with so much food for breakfast, including delicious blueberry muffins. Great tv, WiFi connection, great views of the harbor for watching the fishing boats come and go. She even saved the day for me when my rental car would not start as I was leaving to go on my bear viewing excursion. Thanks Rachel for everything— would recommend this B&B to anyone coming to Kodiak!

Rachel Nelson is all that could be wished for in a host -friendly, engaging, and knowledgeble. We stayed there in September 2016 and enjoyed every moment of it. There are 2 units availble for rent, we went with the upper one, which gives a better view of the bay. The unit is a little "cozy" but for 2 people it was perfect, the full kitchen and sitting area gave us all the room we needed, and having a washer/dryer was awesome. It's close to downtown and easy to get to, I would certainly stay there again.

We spent two nights on the upper level suite. It was laid out very well....separate bedroom and murphy bed in the living room. Good reception with T.V. Good wifi. Huge windows overlooking the bay....wonderful views. We just loved this. We had our coffee in the morning as we enjoyed the views. In the evenings we enjoyed the views(July 4th watched some fireworks!!) and a glass of wine. It was wonderful. Rachael, owner, was EXCELLENT to work with. I talked to her and emailed her several times before we arrived. Made the decisions on what we were going to do very easy. The first day we were there, Rachael told us about an eagles' nest that was nearby(I'm a huge eagle photographer). Because she thought we would have trouble finding it, she hopped in the car with us to show us where it was at. Now that's what I call, SERVICE!! We ordered breakfast the second morning....quiche, toast, muffins, orange juice. Quiche was very good. The suite itself was spotless. In fact I asked Rachael if it was new. It wasn't....just looked that way. Suite was a great value for what we got.

Extremely nice B&B with great hosts! Very conveniently located in town, but with wonderful views of harbor . Accommodations were spic and span! Reasonably priced! Will definitely be back! Hosts have lived in Kodiak for 30 years and are great resources for local recommendations, including where to view the infamous Kodiak bears!

Fantastic place to stay! Rachel greeted us when we arrived and went over how everything worked, and then brought us her Delicious Quiche! This little Home away from home had everything you needed!|Complete with things for you to eat in the Refrigerator! Will be back for another stay!

We sent our really close family friends to stay with Rachel and Dale for a week, for a bucket list wish, they had an incredible time with them, Rachel was so helpful with the reservations, helping us set this up, and their time on Kodak Island. If we ever get to Kodiak Island, we will be staying with them no matter what.

Everything we needed and then some! Our fridge was stocked with our favorite breakfast items and homemade quiche. Access to washer/dryer and gear storage when we went on an excursion went above and beyond. Thank you for being so accommodating and offering clean, affordable, top notch accommodations.
