I can’t recommend the Inn at Tern Lake enough! From start to finish, the experience has been fantastic. Teal, the wedding coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was so responsive, easy to communicate with, and truly made the planning process feel effortless. We had the opportunity to take several virtual tours of the property with her and each time, we were more and more impressed by the stunning surroundings and the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The venue offers a highly inclusive wedding package, and Teal provided us with well-organized PDFs that detailed all the available options, making it so easy to picture our special day there.
The Inn itself is a beautiful setting, and it is a perfect place for any couple looking for a breathtaking, all-inclusive venue. I highly recommend it, 100/10!

I cannot recommend The Inn at Tern Lake in Moose Pass, AK, enough! They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was absolutely perfect. From the very beginning, their team was incredibly responsive, clear in setting expectations, and immensely helpful in finding top-notch vendors.

For our rehearsal dinner, they took care of everything—setting up tables, plates, and more—ensuring it all looked amazing. The morning of the wedding, they provided a delicious breakfast for the wedding party, expertly set up all the ceremony chairs, and prepared the most incredible wedding food I’ve ever tasted. Truly, every bite was unforgettable!

What’s even more impressive is the extra effort they put into making our day flawless. They even chopped down a tree to improve the mountain view for our ceremony—talk about dedication! The team’s kindness, efficiency, and attention to detail were unmatched.

The rooms were also fantastic—quiet, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean, providing the perfect retreat after such a busy and exciting day.

Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them. If you’re considering hosting any event here, do it! I’d give them 10,000/10 and hire them again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Inn at Tern Lake, for making our dream day a reality!

Excellent BNB. Wonderful location and hosts, delicious breakfast. Amazing views. We had a very spacious room with a king bed and a single bed. Bed was comfortable. We would return and highly recommend this beautiful location. Thank you! Five star.

Tip: Walk along their garden and enjoy the funky garden art. Ask for direction to the spawning salmon (if they are in season)

I don’t usually write reviews unless we have an exceptional stay. We had an exceptional stay here. Teal was very welcoming and showed us around the property when we arrived...fantastic grounds and wonderful fully equipped kitchen and sitting area for the use of guests. The fridge stocked with fresh milk, juice, and yoghurts for use by the guests was very much appreciated. Also little bowls of chocolates were a thoughtful touch, There are only four rooms so the place is very peaceful and not at all crowded. The room (#1) was incredibly spacious and comfortable with beautiful views from 2 sides . Very comfortable bed and cozy private bathroom with incredible views and snuggly towels. ||Breakfast was served at 8:30 - each room had their own socially distanced table in the common area. The food was home cooked and delicious with fresh ingredients and you helped yourself to tea and coffee from the kitchen. ||Overall can’t recommend it highly enough...if we ever go back we’ll definitely stay again...it was one of the highlights of our trip.

I can't recommend this place enough. We stayed there for our winter honeymoon and it was amazing. Jeff and Rose gave great recommendations for what to see and do (and what what open). Rose even arranged some hockey gear for us.
The property itself was stunning, the views from the windows incredible, and the location between anchorage and Seward was excellent.

The breakfast cooked every morning was also amazing. If you are planning a trip to Alaska don't miss out!

Exceeded all our expectations, we definitely felt at home. We would definitely return on our next family trip. The place is magical in the middle of the forest, delicious food, very clean rooms. Has an excellent location to go to Seward and Kenai.

From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we fell in love with the place! Such a beautiful bed and breakfast with several outdoor amenities (tennis, basketball, paddle boats, nature trail, golf). Jeff was the first to greet us, and he made us feel so welcome! He also gave us great recommendations of places to go and things to do while we were visiting Alaska. We stayed there one night and wish we would’ve stayed the entire weekend. Rose and the girls were incredibly friendly, the room was so clean and had a gorgeous view, breakfast was delightful, and the experience was the best we’ve had in a really, really long time! Would book another trip to Alaska just to stay there again.

My husband and I had a quick get away here and are dying to come back! The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the breakfast downstairs is classic and delicious, and the surrounding area is beautiful. Not to mention the inn itself has such a elegance to it.
