Dusty, noisy, hot, poor service. One room was adjacent to a generator that was switched on during the night making it impossible to sleep. Uncomfortable beds. In the morning we were compensated with $20 for a sleepless night... Dust on bedside tables, alarm clocks, in the bath.

We live in soldotna and had some work done on our apartments hot water in February. So we booked a hotel for the night in question. Except we booked the wrong date. We were off by a single day and they were nice enough to accommodate our “non-refundable” reservation. Will be recommending this hotel for all further stays in the area

Not a great place, the WiFi was terrible and our room was so hot. It was probably 80 degrees the entire time and we had the window AC unit on full blast, it didn’t even make sense that our room was that hot, it was probably only 50 degrees outside.

Rooms are clean, a bit dated but nice. Definitely smoked in and the smell is covered with deodorant...Check in staff was courteous but later in the day the guy at the desk was very rude... I stood at the desk for 13 minutes while he ignored me as he was on the phone..I just walked away..
Update. When the management reaches out to you regarding your review and respectfully addresses your stay, it speaks volumes..I will also add that all other staff was more than kind and attentive..I would certainly stay here again..

Overall: ok for small town hotel, but WAY overpriced for what you get.

Pros:
Staff are very nice

Cons:
Breakfast is limited to cheap carbs and some ok fruit. No protein options.
Rooms are decently clean, but not very clean. First room had a filthy curtain and the room smelled bad. The room's thermostat was located in another room, so we requested to be moved. New room's thermostat did not work and it was right above the restraunt downstairs' kitchen. We were sweating bullets every night. Staff just told us to open the window and turn on a fan. Second night another staff member gave us a miniature cooling unit that did not do much. So, we continued to cook all night.
Right off of a busy road so there was traffic all night that was heard through aforementioned open window.
Mattresses need an upgrade, old and worn out.

Nice and accommodating staff members, room was cozy, Im a fan of the real wood furniture. Didn’t even know it came with a continental breakfast.

Usually I would give this a 5 star because we have always had good service.
This time though is kinda eh.
They called us and asked us if we wanted to switch to a 2 twin bed room instead of a 2 queen room as they were trying to accommodate new guests. We agreed, though we would have preferred the queens, but we got about $20 off for being moved to the 2 twin bed.
unfortunately, we end up in a room 2 flights up stairs high and above the part of the restaurant where they are having a live concert of sorts and we can hear it from below late at night, making it hard for our toddler and me (light sleeper mom) to fall asleep (and thank goodness our infant can sleep through anything)
Other than that the rooms look great and service is awesome as usual. We will come again in future as we always do 🙂
