I now know the meaning of an angel sent from heaven. My father is going through delirium and it isn't letting up. At a particularly tough moment over the weekend, our angel named Keisha showed up to my Dad's room. I'd never met her before because she works on a different floor. She was asked to come see my Dad and now I know why. She was so calm and comforting with him. She knew how to help him relax. She helped me understand what he's going through. She helped ME relax which I couldn't do for a long time. Her beside manner was truly special. Keisha is a professional in every sense of the world and she cares for her patients just like they were her own family. The world needs more Keishas.

We are grateful for the care of loving CNAs. Dana checks on my mom all day, to meet all of her needs. She, Collete, and Telesha work great as a team. Susan always shows up with a smile & works nonstop. Amanda, the unit nurse manager, has been kind & attentive too. My mom enjoys smiling & laughing with this wonderful staff each day.

My family member was sent to this facility for Rehab. She was heavily sedated and neglected while she was there. We lived so far away that my family was only able to visit one day a week. When I went to see her she was laying on a urine soaked bed that was dry. The nurse blamed it on my family member. She was so sedated that visit that I couldn’t wake her for more than a minute or two. She was sent back to the ER for dehydration and malnutrition plus a staph infection. The ER doctors were surprised she didn’t die. Now at the hospital she is awake and back to her normal self mentally.

My mom has alzheimer's, and requires assistance in all areas. The Cahaba Cove hall has been great for her! She has so many CNA angels looking out for her - Susan with her impeccable work ethic, Telesha with her big heart, Collete with her willingness to do anything, Dana with her friendliness, and Yasmin with her huge smile (just to name a few). Nurse manager Amanda is always willing to listen and make adjustments if needed. My mom enjoys the food, the activities, and the pretty campus. It takes a village, and we are thankful for ours!

I had a cna (dana) a few times and it is always an amazing experience with her, she always makes sure that I do not need anything and always had the sweetest personality. I could have not met a better person that could be any nicer than what i have been recieving!

We recently have had a new head floor nurse on Cove, Amanda. She is absolutely amazing. She goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is good with my FIL and checks in with me to see if we need anything. She's very personable and we adore her. ❤️

Ric also is a wonderful nurse too. He is the best and takes care of patients like family. Both of them are truly awesome and our family appreciates both of them. ?

Also, Collette, Telisha and Susan are wonderful aids and they are always willing to help with a smile. ?

Lakeisha is always a refreshing and wonderful soul. She welcomes me with a smile and always encourages me with words of wisdom. She keeps our room so clean and even helped our family when we had George's birthday party in September. ?

Lovely accommodations, really good food, attention to activities and social events for those who are able. Admission was easy. and Sandi was most helpful. Special shout out to my mom’s CNA‘s that have been with her. Bonita is just the BEST and Natalie, Jamariia and Jaylen (Bend) have been extremely caring. They have the hardest job ever and compassion is a must. Thank you ladies!
