I would give a negative rating if I could! I served my 5 year stint and barely survived this place. The first hard rain our apartment flooded and then 18 more times even with the sand bags that I had to purchase to put on my porch. They did nothing. I never had working lights in the kitchen, a dishwasher or numerous other things. How did I not start with The Mutant Ninja Roaches!!! Unkillable ... They would spray to make them grow I think, I didn't start killing them until I started spraying!
The sewage backed up in our toilets and bathtub six times and they used our power plug to run their pump to correct it for over 12 hours each time. Upstairs apartments flooded into ours. The pool was never opened in the five years. My car was vandalized and broken into twice. Numerous shootings that penetrated our walls. But, the final straw was the carbon monoxide poisoning that the gas company detected that their alarm was not signaling and when I told the new office manager, "It sounds like a personal problem, maybe you should move" was her response. I've been having seizures and migraines and on oxygen and thought it was all long haul covid and the gas company told me I'm lucky to be alive. I will live out of a car, on the street or in a hotel before I would ever give them a dime for a roof over my head again!

I will say when Sylvia was Manager there, I felt like someone cared. It was corporate offices that would not care or assist her. But, she cared.

I lived in Chalkville Landing for 8 years. When Sylvia Watkins came to be the resident manager the apartment complex was a whole lot better. She was very respectful and concerned about any issues that you were having and I really enjoyed living there. I give Sylvia two thumbs up for being an awesome resident manager.

Sylvia was great... she always worked with me and understood when problems came up and she always got things fixed promptly when anything was wrong in the apartment,she would would do a follow-up call to let me know things were fixed, that's how all apartment living should be

Beautiful place to live. Pool use has become too restrictive. Tenants should be allowed at least two guests and maybe paid reservation for larger parties not restricting any other tenants. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars in all other respects.

Charge you for everything water bill to high for it to be apartment. Light bill always over
189. And the Rent is off the chang and they make you pay insurance on there building

I have been living here for four years and have had so many issues with water sewer and plumbing I recently had a issue where my support line on my toilet burst and my entire apartment was flooded my carpet now smells plus my walls are molded I ask for another unit but they refused to help me I always pay my rent on time I will never recommend no one to live here the service is poor and the new manager has a bad attitude.

They are bad they don't fix anything the rent lady and maintenance man are a couple and has a sorry bug come a spray sugar water make them com out even more
