Great location! Nostalgic mid-century style boutique hotel. The pool is great, the accomodations were very clean. The staff was super friendly and awesome. Few complaints! Great time and worth the stay. Super quiet and adults only. Very close to town.

We’ve been regulars at this hotel for many years, coming twice a year for a week at a time. When the hotel was sold a few years ago, we were very concerned. We came very close to booking at another hotel, but what kept us here was the masterful management by Brian who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the hotel. We love Brian! He is professional, engaged, warm and friendly. Any issues that arise are swiftly, competently and completely rectified. He’s a real gem and the Orbit’s new owners are very lucky to have him. Thanks Brian.

Delightful small property. Ben and Brian were fantastic hosts. The location was close to everything yet peacefully quiet. Complimentary coffee, snacks and beverages throughout the day were a great touch. The hot tub/pool and orbitini happy hour at night were the cherry on top! My only ding is the towels all had gaping holes in them and the bathrooms were pretty worn. (I appreciate original tile, but the grout and caulk were worn and dirty looking. The toilet also ran constantly and the shower faucet was broken). Free bikes were appreciated but not fully functional. Considering the price point though, I would still return!

This location was excellent and we were in walking distance of all the places we wanted to explore. The staff was stellar; provided a tour of our room and welcomed us to complimentary drinks with the other guests. I only wish we had stayed longer.

This place is an absolute gem. It is a small boutique type hotel converted from 1950s apartments. The staff are top notch. Brian and Karima did everything they could to ensure that we felt simultaneously like family and royalty during our stay. It is an adults only property with only 9 rooms, so even if it's a full house you will still experience the intimacy and charm that the hotel has to offer. The property is clean and well kept. Each afternoon at 4:45 guests are served complimentary Orbitini cocktails, which are refreshing and delicious. Bikes are available to guests to use if you prefer to explore the area without your car. The location is fabulous; just a few blocks or so off of downtown Palm Springs. The staff have a wealth of knowledge about the city, so if you are looking for suggestions for dining, shopping or entertainment they will happily provide you with great suggestions. We stayed in the Frey Lounge and it was incredible. We loved the outdoor patio shower and the beautiful mid century modern decor. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. There is no reason to book anywhere else in Palm Springs. We can't wait for our next trip!

We’d stayed at the Orbit In on a previous occasion, and a return visit didn’t disappoint.|We were staying in the Bossa Nova room. Although it didn’t have windows overlooking the pool, it was large and comfortable with a good bathroom (including a bath) and a nice private patio at the rear. Housekeeping were excellent in keeping the room clean and replenishing toiletries and towels daily. |Orbitini hour was a delight every afternoon at 4.30! Everyone sat around the bar chatting about their day and sipping cocktails. The manager, Brian, was informative, inclusive and entertaining.|The breakfast was a bit non-existent. Plenty of good coffee, but otherwise only packets of oatmeal or ‘granola balls’ and fruit yoghurts. Neverthless, we bought a packet of good granola from On The Mark deli and ate it in the sunny breakfast area beside the bar. There was always a well stocked fridge full of canned drinks, milk, yoghurt and water.|We would certainly recommend to others!

Location is great, close to many amazing restaurants. Rooms were clean, nicely appointed and air conditioned lol. Pool is amazing, honestly feels like a 1950’s Palm Springs resort. The staff was simply amazing, accommodating and went above and beyond any of my expectations. The stay here was 3 Michelin star equivalent for hotels. Ensure you go out of your way to enjoy this little slice of heaven.

Just completed 5 night stay at Orbit In. Overall our impression was good, with a few exceptions. Room was not serviced after first night of stay and the cleaning fluid which is used has an overpowering scent to it. The scent was bleachy, but mostly a sick sweet smell I can't put my finger on but encounter often at sketchier Mexican restaurants. After 5 days with the windows open most of the time, we could still smell it quite strongly. We could also smell it from the parking area when returning to the hotel. When sitting at the pool, a neighboring room opened their door and same scent wafted out. We chatted with that guest and they acknowledged also being overpowered by it and keeping windows open around the clock to cope.||On the positive side, the hotel's location is excellent and very walkable to the main drag. We enjoyed the retro vibe, as well as pool and hot tub. The shower in our room was the best ever - fantastic water pressure! Office staff were very helpful. Fridge near pool with soft drinks was a nice plus.
