What a gem!! This place was so beautiful! The staff were amazing! They were cheery, helpful and pleasant.
The cleaning staff did an awesome job everyday. We stayed for Three weeks and our room was always spotless.
The swimming pool was one of my favorites, it was always warm and clean. The seating areas around the pool were also well attended to.
The areas outside of the room were very cozy, comfortable, and well kept.

We loved our stay here and will be back. The location is perfect and it was a great price..

Great little spot and great location!! The rooms were clean and have your necessities. The grounds are great, loved all the green space for fun things to do and outside tables for eating. Grounds are very clean. The staff are AMAZING!! Everyone was so kind and addressed any concerns/needs in a timely manner. This is a no frills place, so if you’re just looking for a place to lay your head that’s clean with awesome staff, this is your place. Pool and hot tub were great! The only downside of the hotel was there was no bar on site, but they were applying for their liquor license while I was there. There is a grocery store directly across the street in which you can run and grab food/drinks from there and bring back. This is a great little spot, don’t hesitate to book!

The hotel is a gem which within minute walk to downtown area with the ambiance and relaxing hype.

Great facilities - Well designed and warmly decorated lobby with lots of furniture and areas for relaxation and entertainment. The hotel's stylish decor is a unique mix of contemporary design and mid century chic. Beautiful pool, hot tub, entertainment room and a fitness centre.

The hotel room my family stayed at had stunning views of the nearby mountain with the palm trees and open sky making for beautiful sunrise and sunset viewing.

The hotel is very conveniently located being only a few minutes walk to the heart of downtown Palm Springs. Multiple restaurants and cafes nearby with a supermarket just across the road. Ample parking space. Easy to access surrounding and other sightseeing sites by walking, cycling or car.

There is a filtered water fountain which allowed my family to refill our water bottles anytime (very important especially when it gets hot!). Coffee, tea, water kettle, towels and toiletries are all provided.

Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would consider again in the future.

Only a few minor points (nothing major):

-A bit more space/shelf for clothing would be good.
-Some more closet lighting would be convenient
-The toilet is located a bit too close to the side wall with the toilet paper dispenser

Beautifully renovated hotel. Super comfy beds and location was fantastic. Walking distance to downtown Palm Springs. The pool was beautiful as well. Brought our dog with us and she loved it. Very dog friendly which is an huge plush. Only downside was that the room was a bit small for my liking. But everything else was amazing.

The hotel has recently reopened and is completely remodeled. The entrance is non descript and seems to lack character, but once you enter the large lobby that all changes. The front desk is attentive and friendly. The lobby has a fire place and multiple seating areas. The rooms are clean, modern and baths have high end fixtures. It’s a motel, but it’s something more. The pool and spa are clean and the water temps are just right. The pool decks give a club vibe with loungers, cabanas and large tables and chairs. There’s corn hole at the pool and games boards in the lobby. The few minor issues that popped up were quickly addressed with a simple text to the front desk. The only negative is that it needs to use its lobby and adjacent patio for a bar with simple bar food. That would make this budget friendly hotel an A plus.

Evacuated to Palm Springs because of the LA fires; and couldn’t have been luckier to find an affordable, beautiful room at The Dunes. The location can’t be beat, and the staff is incredible!! They gave my dog a toy, and always went above and beyond for us. The rooms are so cute and very clean, and the whole property is lovely. So much outdoor space!!! And it’s so close to everything downtown, so you can walk everywhere! Couldn’t recommend staying here more. Thank you Dunes!!

At check and I asked for a top floor. They told me they had no availability. Woke up in the middle of the night, in January, sweating through my sheets because the AC unit was malfunctioning. The front desk person had to come to my room before he believed that it was incredibly hot, then somehow they had several rooms open to move me to when there was no availability hours earlier. The second room had a much more modern A/C unit and more amenities so they're not standardized.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was also a great location and we walked to everything. But the value for the money simply wasn't there.

Great location. Walkable to all Downtown Palm Springs attractions. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean for the most part. The challenge was the noise. We could not get a full night of sleep at all. You can hear everything going on outside your room. A weird gate was also placed just outside of our door in front of a step to prevent people from falling. All night all we could hear was people slamming the gate open and closed.
