A Timeless Gem! The Perfect Getaway!
From the moment I arrived at this stunning hotel, I felt like I had stepped back in time—in the best possible way! The 1950s-inspired decor is absolutely impeccable, with every detail carefully curated to capture the charm and elegance of the era. From the vintage furnishings to the vibrant color palette, this place is a dream for design lovers and nostalgia seekers alike.

Beyond the gorgeous aesthetics, the service and hospitality were truly exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect, offering warm smiles, personalized recommendations, and thoughtful touches that made me feel like a valued guest rather than just a visitor.

The rooms were spotlessly clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, blending authentic vintage charm with modern amenities for the perfect balance of retro and relaxation. The on-site speak easy bar and gorgeous pool were equally delightful, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind with a classic cocktail in hand while soaking up the sun in a cabana.

I can’t recommend this hidden gem enough! Whether you’re a mid-century modern design enthusiast or just looking for a one-of-a-kind stay with outstanding service, this hotel is an absolute must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Stayed here for a birthday trip with my daughter (they left me a beautiful birthday balloon in the room). The hotel is very fun, all the rooms are great and the pool area is inviting. We stayed in the Elizabeth Taylor room, I now need one at my house!! We walked to dinner at Copley's which took about 11 minutes. Its close to downtown and walking distance for shopping or dining. The check in was easy, they showed us around and allowed us to view a few other rooms. We will be back for sure in the summer to hang by the pool.

Absolutely loved it. Velvet Rope delivered. Great people, great location, nice vibe, stayed in the Rat Pack room-perfect. Intimate hotel, all rooms are different and themed with old Hollywood, went for a party with friends and got to check out a handful of rooms and they all work, clean, cool and spacious. Pool scene is chill and the lay out excellent. We live in California and now have a new spot to stay while in Palm Springs.

A Poolside Affair to Remember – 10/10

From the moment I arrived, the enchanting allure of this Old Hollywood oasis unfolded before me. Every detail of this retro-chic boutique hotel exuded sophistication and charm. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the visionary behind it all, owner David Rios, who graciously provided a private tour of his exquisite property.

Sipping on expertly crafted libations by the exceptionally talented and personable Kevin, I reveled in the ambiance of this perfectly curated retreat. The grounds were immaculately manicured, each element meticulously designed to evoke a sense of tranquility and effortless luxury.

Without a doubt, this hidden gem has earned a top spot on my list. One day was simply not enough—I’ll be returning for a full weekend stay to truly immerse myself in this dreamy escape.

I love Palm Springs and I love The Velvet Rope! The staff are incredible, welcoming and really do go above and beyond for their guests. Everything was clean and comfortable and very stylish. What a vibe!

The pool and spa were great and there was even an easy little grab and go breakfast with a couple options on offer. 100% would stay here again. Usually I take a raft of photos but I was too busy celebrating and having fun. 🙂

This place rules. Charming, unique, and thoughtfully designed rooms (we stayed in the Honeymoon suite, but got to peak into a few other rooms and they were all gorgeous). Beautiful outdoor area with a warm pool, hot tub, a fantastic view. Incredibly friendly and hospitable staff. It’s clear a lot of love went into making this place what it is.

What an unbelievable place to stay. I will be staying there every time I go to Palm Springs. The rooms are super clean, each one with their own unique design. It is perfect location for all the food spots and casinos. The staff was incredibly nice and professional! I will definitely be going back very soon.

From check in to check out the service and hospitality provided by David was above and beyond! The small boutique luxury made us never want to leave. The view, location, pool, uniquely designed old Hollywood rooms and special artistic touches made our vacation one we would never forget. We can wait for our next visit back to the velvet rope.
