The Brick Hotel is a hidden gem, right in the heart of downtown Oceanside. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The suite was perfect for us and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming, helpful and friendly. Great food and drinks and close walking distance to other great cafes, bars and restaurants. Highly recommend The Brick Hotel and will definitely be returning ~ !!!

The Brick Hotel is a charming hotel in a perfect location in Oceanside. It’s got a restaurant and bar in the lobby and another restaurant and bar on the rooftop. It’s two blocks from the wharf and beautiful beaches, which stretch as far as the eye can see in both directions. There are lots of eateries, coffee shops, breweries, bars, ice cream shops, and shops for blocks around.

Our room was on the third floor. It was a great combination of historic and modern, with views of the town and beach. Indoor plants, colorful wallpaper, pillows, and exposed brick created a great aesthetic. We had a small balcony, fridge, and great HVAC.

We were greeted by a lovely young lady, who helped us with our luggage and showed us our room. All of our other communications with the hotel was via email and text. They were super responsive and clear in their communications.

The Brick Hotel offers a delightful accommodation experience, characterized by its attractive pricing and well-preserved architecture. Although our room was compact, it sufficiently met our requirements, enhanced by a small balcony that created an illusion of greater space. The management team was exceptionally accommodating, providing friendly and informative assistance despite the absence of a traditional reception desk; all necessary information was efficiently communicated through emails and texts. The hotel comprises of four floors, 1st & 4th/rooftop, have bars while the 2nd & 3rd are where the rooms are located. We enjoyed our stay on the third floor, which provided the best views from the balcony.||Every Thursday, Pier View Way, the location of the Brick Hotel, hosts two vibrant outdoor markets. The Oceanside Farmers Market operates from 9 AM to 1 PM, while the evening Sunset Market, contingent on favorable weather, expands significantly, transforming the area into a lively street fair from 5 PM to 9 PM. This event features a diverse array of dining options, local artisan booths, and live music, making it incredibly convenient as guests can step outside and immerse themselves in the festivities.

The absolute perfect place to stay to experience Oceanside. From booking to check in, the Brick’s staff was so helpful and kind. Even though it is contactless during your stay, they are readily available via text or the concierge tablet in your room. The room itself is lovely, the perfect space to land during a quick weekend getaway. They even remembered to leave a wine key with two glasses. If you can plan your stay to include a Thursday evening, I cannot recommend the night market enough. We sat at Frankie’s (the bar right next door) and had a few drinks, then ate our way through the street food vendors for dinner. Some of the best food I’ve had in awhile (check out the peanut style pad thai). We walked the beach each morning, grabbed coffee at Succulent Cafe and an afternoon beer at the brewery in the back. Overall an 11/10 stay. Thank you to all the staff that made it such a lovely experience, we will be back!

Location was fabulous. Short walk to the pier and everything that entails. Great options for eating all around. Museum close by. Loved the rooftop bar and views from there. Loved The room Decoration style and balcony with again great views. Solo traveler and looking forward to coming back again soon. And don’t forget the morning, coffee and shopping for succulents! Peter is the best and as a local has so much great information about the area.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff was great and I am looking forward to coming back. Great location surrounded by fantastic bars and restaurants. Really liked the look and feel of the building. The lobby / tiki bar and roof top bar are great options for business and/or just having fun.
