As an employee at Heritage Hills, I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a team that prioritizes the well-being and dignity of our residents. Working in memory care can be challenging, but it is also one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had.

What stands out most to me is the deep sense of compassion that runs throughout the facility. From the caregivers to the administrative staff, everyone is dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Whether it’s engaging in a meaningful moment with our residents or assisting them with fun daily activities, the connection we form with our residents is central to everything we do.

The work can be physically and emotionally demanding, especially given the unique needs of people with memory loss, but there’s a strong sense of camaraderie among the staff. We work as a team, supporting one another to ensure that both the residents and each other have the best possible experience. The management team is always open to feedback and continually strives to improve both the care we provide and the work environment for staff.

The facility itself is well-maintained, with comfortable and inviting spaces that are designed to meet the sensory and safety needs of individuals with cognitive impairments. From the secure outdoor gardens to the thoughtfully arranged common areas, everything is set up to ensure that residents feel at home while also being safe.

I am proud to be part of this community and to play a role in helping our residents maintain a sense of dignity and connection in the face of memory loss.

I had an great experience at Heritage Hills. The staff member I met Evalyn was so compassionate and knowledgeable. The community itself was clean and has an inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend meeting with the team of Heritage Hills for anyone looking for memory care services.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place is a joke. Your family member IS NOT SAFE HERE!!!! The place is gross, it smells, there is hardly ever a housekeeper in sight. Residents have piles of dirty laundry in their rooms at all times. The caregivers are overworked, understaffed and underpaid. They do their best and there is only a few that actually care about their job. The meals are disgusting. Everything is out of a can! They are gross meals that are not nutritious for elderly people who wonder around the hallways constantly. Family members are bribed to leave good reviews to get this place better ratings but do not trust those. I have reported this facility to California Licensing with proof of numerous violations. Safe yourself the heartache and DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. The ED Stefanie is the worst dishonest, lying person I have met in my whole life. She shouldn’t even have a license. If you have your loved one here already please visit at least once a week and you will see with your own eyes what I am writing in this review. I demand a change for the patients in this facility!!!! They are neglect on a daily basis!
