I just finished the phlebotomy course over a 3 weekend journey! Ms. Powers was AMAZING, she gives you the right information you need for the NHA exam. Thanks to her I passed the exam first try! She is very patient and understanding when it comes to practicing with the needles. Loved and will miss the class and the instructor!

My experience with the phlebotomy program was great! It is one of the best programs I’ve found compared to others. All the staff were super helpful! Steele was my instructor and he kept the class engaging, fun, and informative! Narek, the program director is amazing and supportive every step of the way!!!

I have been taking BLS classes for over 20 years. This is a very generic class. You sit and watch a video the entire class with an instructor in the classroom to start and stop the video. The instructor counts out loud while you do compressions and simulated breaths in time to the video as it plays. That is your skills portion. At the end you take the written portion of multiple choice questions. There was no hands-on application with the AED. The machine was pulled out and shown to students and
that was that. The only instruction and interaction was the video. The equipment was outdated for a career college in my opinion. Skills training was minimal at best and done as a large group. So no worries on not passing that portion.
I would not recommend this class.

My google account is under a nickname, My name is Albert and have recently completed the CNA course. The instructor Mika was compassionate, knowledgeable, patient, and guided our entire class through the online, in-class, and clinical aspect of the program. LACC also provided us with all the information to set up for the state test, walked us through filling and filing the paperwork to ensure it was done correctly. This course taught us about the required skills to pass the state test and how it applied to real life situations while we did the clinical work at Sherman Oaks hospital. The office staff was also great, they were patient and considerate, also providing our class with potential job opportunities when the course was completed. With help in completing a resume and can provide a letter of recommendation. This was a great and positive experience, I am looking forward to keeping in touch with classmates and our instructor through the journey and growth in the healthcare industry.

I was enrolled in the CNA training and I had a wonderful experience with program and the staff. Mika is a wonderful instructor, she knows exactly what she’s doing and teaches you exactly how the exam wants. As for the people in the front desk they are amazing, especially Fadi and Ellie! They are so lovely and they go above and beyond to try and help with whatever they can, they literally perform miracles. Overall, it was a great experience here at LACC I would highly recommend it!!

The course was amazing! I have learned a lot in just few weeks. The instructor Mika is the best, she’s very thorough, caring, detailed, funny, and helpful. She wants her students to learn. The campus is very nice and clean. Fadi is amazing guy always willing to help you. Eli thank you for everything…General the staff are good people. I would recommend the school to anyone. Got hands on experience as well.

Great place, I got my license and prerequisites to become a phlebotomist in 2 weeks only. Best decision of my life.
