I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this inn. It was a prime location in downtown San Francisco for a reasonable price. The room was clean and comfortable and the service I received at the front desk was very helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wanted to stay in the area.

This remodeled motel is our new go-to spot to stay when going to the San Francisco Ballet or anything at the opera house. So convenient!

The managers are really nice -and helpful. The room was small, but very clean and updated. And the parking is free onsite. We were very comfortable staying here.

Best part was being able to walk to the opera house, dinner, and breakfast. So easy!

Really enjoyed our two night stay at this place. We changed motels in the last nine days because this was cheaper and also in a walkable Pleasant part of San Francisco and then when we saw it was two king beds in one room, and we only needed one king bed. We worried that it would be like the king beds were taking up all the room, but they weren't! I wish I had taken pictures, but I didn't. It was a really nice room and you know it's a motel in the city so I did worry about noise. There wasn't street noise. I could hear people moving above us. If we stay there again, I would probably try to get one of the rooms that doesn't have another room above it, but that wasn't a big deal because that noise wasn't late at night or early in the morning and everyone was friendly. there's no food right in the motel, but there's lots of things nearby.

No frills but you can tell they’ve put some money into it, which I appreciated.

Stayed here for one night and will definitely stay here again. As a solo traveler I felt very safe, even with a room on the first floor.

Check in was super easy (about 5 minutes), and having some place safe to park my car was an added bonus.

The bed was the most comfortable bed + pillow combo I’ve slept in this year as a frequent traveler. Getting out of bed for check out was hard.

It’s close to several bars/restaurants and catching an Uber from this location was super easy/fast.

I recently stayed for one night and was happy with the manager"s customer service until after checking out and realizing that we left our jackets in the closet. I called to check to see if our jackets were located and the manager said that nothing was turned in and that he would check with housekeeping the next day. He said that someone was staying in the room so I asked him to please check the closet. He did, but didn't find anything. I stopped by on my way home that same evening because it didn't feel good that I should have to wait until the next day just to see if the things that I knew I left in the room were found or turned in. When I asked the manager if he could please check the person's cart who cleaned our room he said that he could not. I told him that I live about 125 miles away and that it wouldn't be convenient for me to wait until tomorrow. He said that there was nothing he could do. He said that if they find it that I could pay for postage to have it sent to me. I asked him why would I have to pay if because of the internal lack of communication and not following protocols that I should pay. He said because it was my responsibility that they were left. He told me that when the housekeeper finds things in the room they bring it and put it in this small room in the office. They did not. They didn't even communicate with the manager that anything was found. The manager left me a voicemail today that my things were found. They were left in a bag in the laundry room. The manager said that the bag was not put in the room where it should have been put because it was too big. I seen the room and I know what I left. It would have easily fit. Even if the reason was valid why would the housekeeper not have informed the manager of what was found? Should I now have to be inconvenienced because the manager didn't know or get the information he should have gotten? More stringent protocols need to be put in place. It is not a good look when things are found and are not communicated or placed where management can easily find them so that customers can get their things that same evening.

This is an older hotel that has been redone, owner is great to work with and the rooms are spacious. They even have 2 king bed option. Make sure you grab a burger at the corner of the hotel and a shake. Both are great and the owner is awesome!

Apesar de ser um hotel simples, eu e minha família gostamos muito. Bem limpo, sem cheiro de mofo apesar de ter carpete. A única coisa que não gostamos foi do barulho do aquecedor. Pontos altos, estacionamento free, o hotel fica numa região muito boa, cheia de restaurantes e cafés. Você pode andar em segurança pela região.

The owner was very accommodating and helpful during our stay! Rooms are clean, the area felt safe, and was close to the UCSF. Great value for the $. Will definitely stay here again when in San Francisco. The Double Decker was next door, which had great burgers, super convenient after a busy day.
