This is a very clean Hotel for drug rehabilitation and people recovering from addiction. For 23 years I worked as a litigation production assistant and now I am a volunteer overnight cleaning janitoress. These are pictures from my SRO at The Seneca Hotel 34 6th Street First Floor Residential San Francisco California 94103. There is a nice and sunny room for you here if you can keep it clean and don't use drugs, violence, alcohol and you or your visitors are not a Freeman Masonry member or deep criminals or gang member/s. Thank you.

All reality aired in righteously indignant validity this is a condemned structure of miss use and all itsill fated ventures... that if you don't mind the biped pests staffing it ...you'll be home in your hovel of infested heavenly dilapidated single residency occupancy death trap combo... With a door you may or may not have the only key to lock it up with...other than the management of ill-repute... Obviously gunning for your financial means without having to keep you in a disqualified equivalent to a sub-par domicile.....

Well if you are fond of the criminally insane, don't mind sharing your room with very large cockroaches.Spend about half an hour looking for a toilet thats not clogged and a shower thats not full of food from people washing there dishes, not to mention the roaches again.Plus the interesting small garbage can on every floor.Thats full an hour after its emptied. They overflow with nasty garbage and not to mention the roaches again.Besides almost getting stabbed the other day and the guy that overdosed in the evening.I guess if you were in hell it might be worst. But you probably would get better customer service there.

I live here now it's a terrible place to live . The staff are good people trying to help the community. There are roaches and with the construction going on in 6th Street, there are also mice.

I live here, but not for long. Not much left to be said about this century old hotel. It's training housing for feral people. They Don't take cash anymore. You must be homeless and brought in by Navigation or Hot Team or through the transitional housing programs. Still grateful for the place, but looking forward to the step up program after I have been here a yr to advance to unsupervised living at the Caldrake in Polk Gulch. Then from there, we play the Mayor's Dahlia housing lotteries based on income, and wait to get a house! Only in SF...

This place should be renamed "The Seneca Psychiatric Hospital for The Criminaly Stupid".... How I've managed to live here for seventeen years (without using my amazing psyhcic 🔮 abilities or my Supper Spidy Senses!) I'll never fully comprehend. What day is it anyway?

All right - here's the deal: Seneca is no more...as in it's not an sro place. it's like where you go when you gotta do your thing. Or - if it's raining, and your normal spot got no cover. People who rate here need to know 6th st. That's MY NEIGHBORHOOD- MY HOME - MY STREET. - DON'T DISRESPECT IT- Especially if you're coming from south beach penthouse corporate neverland scared. I lived here all my life and no I'm not scared, no, I'm not in a gang, yea - I go out 10pm, 2am, 4am, whatever - cause it's my home. If you're Bed-Stuy, South-Central, south bronx, chicago sort for real, it's probably the heart of what this city is really about. It's not the Haight. It's not "Pier 39" it's not marin - thank god. But it's history and the people there aren't anywhere else.

Sunnyside nextdoor is sort of an SRO type thing, but it's basically a residential. Nothing here is going to show up on any travel sites - so if you're scared, don't go. If you're real, check it out. Don't just take pictures of ppl w/o asking first. Don't ignore ppl asking for cigs or change. And don't walk around staring at everybody like you've never seen the real world before and you'll discover san francisco like you're not supposed to, but how you really should ~
